“Yeah, I’m good,” I hum, looking at him.

“Fuck, that bitch hit you hard,” Josh says, looking at my nose as he touches it.

“The bitch did, but I’m going to kick her ass,” I hum, lowering my eyelids.

“Let’s go to the Nurse's office,” Kevin says, taking my arm.

“Yeah.”

“It looks like you’re going to have a black eye,” Kevin says, looking at my face.

“Bitch is going to pay. I want you to teach me some kickboxing.”

“Yeah, I will,” Kevin says, taking my hand.

He always takes my hand when I get hurt and that makes me feel so good, special.

“Wow! That girl really hit you,” Halo hums, looking at my face.

“Let me see,” Mommy says, walking around Halo.

Mommy moves her hand and holds my chin, tilting my face to look.

“Oh my, she gave you a nasty black eye and a split lip, but you will be okay. Pixie, get me the ice bag,” Mommy hums, moving her head from side to side.

“Okay,” Pixie hums, walking to the kitchen.

“I’m going to kick her ass,” I hum.

“I don’t want you fighting at school,” Mommy says, pressing her lips tight.

“Mom, Cherry needs to kick her ass, it’s a must,” Pixie says, holding the ice bag.

“Yeah, she knows that I’m an MC brat; she shouted at the court that I’m a slutty MC girl and that all I do is cheat. It pissed me off that she’s talking shit,” I hum, closing my eyes.

Mommy pushes my hair back from my face and places the ice bag on my eye.

“You know that people do not understand our lifestyle. They’re ignorant and scared, so they go off. I don’t want you to fight because you’re better than that,” Mommy hums, looking at me.

“Hell no! Mom, she has to kick her ass,” Halo hisses, resting her hands on her waist.

“Yeah, I’m going to train and learn to kickbox to kick her skinny ass and anyone else that dares to try to humiliate me.”

“That’s my girl,” Pixie hums, doing a happy dance.

“Hell yes, you kick her ass,” Halo hisses, lowering her eyelids.

“Girls, you’re going to be the death of me,” Mommy hums, moving her head from side to side.

Later.

I walk out of the clubhouse and across the gravel drive. I walk into the Lair and see Kevin at the table smoking. I walk over to sit next to Kevin.

“Hey.”

“Cherry, you’re getting a black eye,” Kevin hums, moving his fingers to my face. He turns my face to look at the ugly bruises.

“Yeah, the bitch caused some damage. I’m so pissed at myself! I never dreamed that she would hit me.”
