“You’re all smiles today!” Isabella noted.
“Yeah, in great spirits,” Autumn followed up.
We had all agreed to get together so I could introduce the two of them and we could plan this photoshoot out.
The first thing that played in my mind when I woke up this morning was my night with Ahmad. Not only was my pussy a good kind of sore, but I had slept like a baby feeling refreshed. The smile on my face hadn’t wavered either.
Last night with Ahmad feltgood, feltright, and that kind of scared me. The way he knew my body and the way my body reacted to him like he had explored it before was different for me. I have had good sex before, but with Ahmad, I had come harder than I ever had in my life. Not to mention I fell right to sleep right after; thatneverhappens.
He was rough yet gentle with my body, making sure I was left truly satisfied. I wasn’t sure if that was normal for him when he slept with other women. Most men were selfish in thebedroom if you didn’t hold any value in their life, right? Then, the thought of Ahmad sleeping with other women, making them feel like he made me feel, filled my head, causing me to frown.
Get a fucking grip, Fatima. You both wanted to have sex, the attraction was there, and now it’s out ofbothof your systems. It’s time to move on and focus. But then again, how could I?Ahmad had awakened my body and sent feelings through me that no one else had ever done before, but yet and still, both of us were emotionally damaged. How could anything outside of sex happen between us?
I sighed. “I’m just in a good mood. Happy we’re doing this. Is that a crime?” I lowered my head and looked over the clothes that Autumn was in the middle of showing us.
“Autumn may be falling for that, but I’m not. I’ve known you literally your whole life and something is up, so spill it.”
Glancing up, I noticed Isabella frowning at me, making me snicker. “Nothing is up. I’m just having a good day. Is that a crime?” I cocked my head to the side.
“Mhm, if I didn’t know any better, I would say that’s the ‘I got some good dick’ smile,” Autumn spoke up.
She was staring at me intensely, waiting on me to tell her otherwise. Even though she was right, I still wasn’t admitting to anything.
“Autumn, you’re reading too much into this.Bothof you are. I’m just in a good mood,” I denied.
“Yeah alright, Fatima, if you say so.” I snickered again and shook my head.
“Back to this. These clothes are cute! I can’t wait to put them on,” Isabella ran her hands over the clothes in front of her.
She wasn’t lying. Autumn’s Boutique did well; stylish, cute and casual clothes. They also sold pieces if you wanted to go out and still be classy. Her boutique was reasonably priced, and the quality of the clothes was good. She seemed to have clothes for all shapes and sizes, which was a plus.
“I know. I don’t know how I never knew about it.”
“At first, it was just anInstagramstore until I finally opened a physical location. It’s been up and running for almost a year now. That’s why I want to do this shoot. I want to launch our summer line on my yearanniversary. I want to have a small celebration at the boutique, and I want you to take pictures.” Autumn turned to Isabella. “I also want to do a small fashion show if you wouldn’t mind modeling a few clothes.”
Isabella smiled widely. “Girl, hell no, I don’t mind! That sounds like a bomb idea.”
“Yeah, I’m down for it. One year is a big deal! A lot of stores are closing and filing bankruptcy, so for you to be going strong is great.”
“Yeah, well you know boutiques are in. People are tired of these overpriced stores taking their money.”
“That’s true. I online shop and buy from boutiques all the time.”
“Same!”
“See! It’s the thing. I have an online store and a physical store. We update shipments every week and change with the seasons. It works,” she shrugged.
“I’m just happy you’re letting us be a part of all this.”
Autumn’s phone went off. She looked at it and frowned.
“Everything good?” I asked her, noticing an instant shift in her mood.
Autumn didn’t speak back right away. She hit her phone a few times and stared at it in disbelief.
“Yeah, just anInstagramnotification I didn’t expect to see,” she huffed and sat her phone down.
“Who was it?” I raised an eyebrow.
