“You sure that’s what you want?” Otto gives me a cheeky eyebrow wiggle.

Damian studies me for a second, then nudges Otto with his elbow before shifting in the blink of an eye.

He’s magnificent. His scales are blue and gold, his body massive, with a wingspan that stretches from one side of the roof to the other. The only thing about him that doesn’t change is his eyes. They’re just as dark and alluring as they were before.

Otto takes his time shifting, just like he has the other times he’s transformed in front of me, always starting with his cock. His glorious, beautiful, thick dragon cock.

When he’s finished, he nudges my shoulder with his snout, silently encouraging me to shift. The worry about how Damian will feel watching this comes back, but he doesn’t look away.

So I shift. It’s not as seamless and quick as Damian, or as intentional and slow as Otto. It’s splotchy. Scales jumping out, then vanishing, then jumping out again before I feel as if my skin is bursting. And then it’s done.

Damian leaps into the air first, leading the way.

Smoke puffs from my nose as I worry about what we might find at this temple. I don’t know what I think about this goddess they talk about, but I’m definitely not a fan of the idiotic rules around mates and how transformations happen. I just hope there’s some kind of fix for all this.

My concerns quickly melt away, though, as we catch the wind and soar over the Atlantic Ocean. Otto gives me a toothy dragon grin, and I smile back. Nothing has ever felt as right as flying over New York beside my dragons.

My dragons?

Yeah, my dragons. My mates. It doesn’t fully make sense, and I definitely can’t explain it, but they’re mine.

Damian leads us past what they told me is their horde’s local temple, the place I transformed, and then continues out over the Atlantic. It takes hours of flying before we land in front of massive doors that enter right into the side of a mountain. An engraving of a dragon spans both doors. Its mouth is open with flames licking up the wood. Decorative vines and flowers climb the outside edges. It’s gorgeous and completely out of place stuck right in the middle of this massive volcanic rock formation.

Two dragons wait for us to approach. I guess they’re guards of some sort. When Damian and Otto shift, the other dragons do the same. I’m a little self-conscious about being naked in front of four men and whoever else is in the temple. But thankfully, Otto brought a bag of clothes. He steps in front of me as a sort of shield while I change back into my human form, then hands me an oversized shirt of Damian’s. I slip it over my head, taken aback by how good it smells. He’s a big guy, but I’m not small, so the shirt is snug and hits just below my ass. Otto lets out a whistle that draws Damian’s attention away from the guard he was talking to. His eyes burn with red flames as his gaze travels down my body.

“I think he likes seeing you in his clothes,” Otto whispers, before tossing Damian a pair of athletic shorts. “Might want to cover that up if you don’t want to distract her too much.”

Damian catches the shorts, blinks, and shakes his head as if he’s trying to clear it before stepping into them. Otto puts on a pair of sweatpants, and I feel a strange mix of disappointment and relief.

I tug at the hem of the shirt, trying to cover a little more of myself. The movement catches the attention of one of the guards, his gaze dropping to the bottom of the shirt. Damian and Otto both growl and snap their teeth.

The guard holds up his hands, chuckling. He asks Otto a few questions, but I barely pay attention because Damian’s looking at me with that fire again, and it’s impossible to think straight.

He stalks toward me, and everything else falls away. He tucks his fingers under the sleeve of the t-shirt I’m wearing. “You wore this the night…” His voice trails off on a gravelly exhale. His hands slide down my arms to grip the full flesh at my hips as he tugs me closer. “It looks even better on you now.”

“Hey, we’re cleared to go in,” Otto says.

“Huh?” I can’t rip my eyes away from Damian.

Otto chuckles and grabs my hand. “Come on.”

He drags me through the doors with Damian following a step behind. When I look over my shoulder, he’s got those intense eyes glued to my ass. I give it an extra sway, which makes the shirt lift a little too high. He’s there in a second, smoothing the fabric down over my backside and snarling at the guards who definitely just caught a glimpse.

The room we enter is like an empty great hall. Large pillars break up the space, similar to the ones in the temple where I transformed, but these aren’t the sandy brown of limestone. These are black rock, marbled with stripes of white. The floor is made of the same stone, polished to a shine.

There are three people standing in the center, clearly waiting for us. A woman and two men. They’re all naked, and I’m shocked to realize the men are… eunuchs. I didn’t know that was still something people did. It seems barbaric.

“Don’t stare,” Otto whispers. “They don’t like that.”

“Neither do I.” Damian puts his hand on the small of my back. “We’re the only men I want to catch you looking at.”

“Welcome,” the woman in the center greets us.

Both Otto and Damian bow, so I do the same.

“Priestess,” Damian says as he straightens.

She tilts her head and studies him for a long moment before her gaze moves to Otto and then to me. Her eyebrows lift, lips parting. “Oh, dear.”
