“Is this ass mine?”

“Yes!” Tighe cried out, reveling in a different kind of frenzy.

“So I can pump this ass full of cum and fetch it later?” Silas panted, bucking his hips and making Tighe yelp with pleasure.

“Please! Give it to me!” Tighe whimpered, his eyes crossing as pressure and heat throbbed in his core.

Silas was so deep and they were so close, Tighe was back in the forest when he shut his eyes and let the wildness take him. He came, screaming into the rug as Silas chanted his name and words of forever and love. Tighe was crying when Silas muffled a roar and fell forward, locking them together.

There was a plume of slick, wet heat in Tighe’s ass and he smiled, already anticipating the feel of it leaking and smearing the insides of his ass cheeks and dribbling onto his sac and thighs. Later, Silas would rip off Tighe’s briefs and lick him clean. Then, he would finger Tighe, playing in the warm slipperiness before taking him again and making an even bigger mess.

“It has to be fate, Tighe.” Silas kissed the words against his temple. “You were made for me, I swear, and I will never get enough of you.”

“It was fate.” Tighe nodded, a loopy smile on his face as his cheek dragged on the rug. They were meant to be together and Tighe was done wandering and being alone. “This ass is yours and we’re complete now.”

Chapter Nineteen

It had become the standard since meeting Nox and Nelson, so Silasshouldn’thave been surprised when matters suddenly escalated the following evening. The day had dragged with no updates about Eoin or new intelligence about Dùbhghlas’s activities. All had voiced their frustrations over dinner and in the study over nightcaps and cups of tea. The twins and their spouses were preparing to leave when discussion turned to real estate.

Nelson and Bryn had a few properties to show Silas and they were passing around their phones as they compared lot sizes, prices, and locations.

“That’s about half an hour closer and there’s already a well,” Nelson said as he read over Silas’s shoulder.

Silas whistled and nodded at the listing’s first photo. “And a stream. That looks like paradise and the price is certainly fair.”

There was a muffled cheer from Bryn. “That’s nottoo farfrom us. I have a buddy who does a lot of contracting work and he can get just about anything you need: salvage fixtures for cheap or leftover lumber and odd-sized windows for free!”

“That would begreat,” Silas said, growing more excited about the tiny house he was building in his head. “I was thinking of putting in a big, slanting skylight over the loft so Tighe can feel like he’s sleeping under the stars.”

That got another rare smile out of Nelson. “I wouldn’t mind something like that but it’ll be perfect for Tighe.”

They turned when Niall hurried into the room with Smoak trailing after him.

“Something’s happened!” Niall warned and all eyes went to Smoak, just as his human form faded and a dark cloud curled in the corner behind the door.

“He’s coming and he has something you want,” Smoak announced before the plume of smoke vanished.

Tighe gasped from the sofa, stunned and scared as he set down his cup and saucer. “Where did he go and what does that mean?”

“Shhh!” Nox held out a hand, signaling for everyone to be still and listen. There was a soft but high-pitched hissing whine, like a kettle just before it screams. “It’s Dùbhghlas. He’s here,” he whispered, sending Merlin running to the corner by the desk for his staff.

“Stay behind me,” he ordered as he rushed through the study and into the foyer. “Hecannot cross our gate or breach our boundaries,” Merlin stated defiantly before throwing the door open and charging out.

Nox, Nelson, the twins, and Everly were right behind him but Fletcher gestured for Niall, Silas and Tighe to stay back as they assembled on the lawn, close to the townhouse’s front steps.

“We should probably hang back. There isn’t a lot we can do if this gets dicey,” Fletcher whispered.

“That’s probably a good idea,” Silas said and they gathered inside the front door to watch.

“I don’t see anything,” Tighe complained, tugging at his ear. “I don’t like that sound.”

“I don’t like it either,” Silas said as he searched for the source of the high-pitched whine and the odd crackle, then swore when the streetlights around the townhouse flickered. “I really don’t like this.”

A few streetlights popped and flashed before they all went out. There was a loudcrack!and two figures appeared on the street in front of the gate. A tall, extremely slender elderly man with a long gray beard stood proudly, dressed in a corduroy blazer, red plaid shirt, jeans, boots, and a cowboy hat. Silas assumed that was Hugh Dùbhghlas but his heart leapt into his throat and he was too late to stop Tighe when he recognized the massive, bearded man next to the warlock.

“Eoin!” Tighe cried and rushed out and down the steps but the twins grabbed each of his arms, holding him back. “I have to—!Let me go!” he protested but Nox shushed loudly and raised a hand.

“Nobody moves. Especially you, Tighe.” he ordered them in a low, hard whisper. “He’s here to draw you out and Eoin’s the bait.”
