 I grew up wanting to be
 
 first base royalty. T-ball,
 
 then years of Little League
 
 ,
 
 gave me the skills I need.
 
 But earning that crown
 
 demands more than skill.
 
 What it requires are arms
 
 like Mark McGwire’s.
