Page 22 of Meant To Be

Her hands wrap in my hair holding me right where she needs me the most. I hook my finger to the side of her panties and see the proof of what I did to her. She’s drenched and the smell of her is enough to have me moving her towards the bathroom vanity to steady her as I have my way with her.

Once she’s settled, I’m back to working her up with my tongue and fingers. Her flavor is branded on my lips, her taste is something I’ll never get enough of.

“Liam, please let me come, please,” she huffs out.

I stand up and wipe the back of my hand to my mouth. I settle in between her legs, my hand going to my cock to align it with her tight pussy.

“You ready, Baby? This won’t be slow,” I tell her.

“I’m always ready for you, Liam,” she says as I drive into her in one firm stroke.

“Fuck, Everly. You’re my everything,” her pussy is already fluttering, and I know it’ll only be a mere few minutes until we both come.

“Oh God, Liam. Harder, faster,” she screams out and I give her what she needs. I go faster, harder, and deeper. I bring my mouth to hers and I swallow her cries as we both come together.

“That’s a welcome home I could get used to every single day,” I tell her.

“I think I can manage that,” Everly responds with a wink.

We pull apart and hop in the shower, washing each other quickly and then we’re back in bed where we make love all through the night. Where we’re both as greedy as the other.

Epilogue

Everly

8 months later

I make my way to the back patio with a glass of lemonade and a book. Liam said he was going to the hardware store to buy the wood he needs for Avery’s nursery. He’s building custom built-in bookshelves. He said if she’s anything like her mom, her room will be filled to the brim with books.

I sit down and place my drink on the coffee table and take a deep breath. Last night Avery got us up every few hours. It seems she has her days and nights mixed and she’s now sleeping quietly in the living room where we have the bassinet set up. Liam and I weren’t very shocked when the pregnancy test came back positive. We both knew we weren’t using protection, and we just left it in fate’s hands.

What we did do was have a small wedding ceremony in our backyard surrounded by just a few friends. We didn’t go off on a honeymoon since he was just coming home and settling into his job. He decided to start his own business in carpentry, and me, well, I just started working full time at the salon, and I knew I was going to need to take time off here and there for doctor appointments.

I settle into my book and enjoy the sunshine in the late afternoon hours.

Liam

I walk in from the hardware store, it didn’t take me long to find the wood I wanted for Avery’s nursery. I see her in her cradle like thing we keep her in when we’re out in the main area. I pick up our bundle of joy that looks so much like her mom, it melts my heart. I told Everly I’d be back in an hour or two tops and since it’s more on the two-hour side and she mentioned she was going to sit outside once Avery settled down for her nap, I already know where she is.

I step out onto the back deck and she’s on her side. Her book is laying on her hip, open but face down, and she’s sleeping. This is where I find her almost every day when I come home.

Melinda set up a room for Avery so when Everly does go back to work and wants to bring the baby she’ll have a place of her own to sleep and nurse her in.

We both lucked out with some amazing friends. Pete ended up moving down the road from us after he finished flipping his last house and even settled back in the states. He’s coaching the local high school baseball team now and I have to say, he seems quite content.

I rest my hip on the side of the couch and slowly sift my fingers through her hair. As I hold a squirming Avery in my other hand, I know she’s ready to nurse, but if I can hold her off for just a few more minutes to give Everly a little more time to relax, I’ll take it. We sit there, and I watch her sleep.

Avery lets out a squeal, one I can’t contain and Everly’s eyes bolt open.

“I didn’t think I’d fall asleep that fast,” she whispers sleepily.
