“Yes, we needed their portfolio, we needed their technology and long term it will contribute to the success of Black Industries.”

She smiled holding her glass up to cheers him. He smiled back raising his own and they both took a sip.

He put his glass down, and went back to the lamb, plating it up next to a salad and potatoes.

“Thank you.” Maddie said as he placed hers in front of her.

“You’re welcome.” He replied sitting down on the bar stool.

He watched her eat for a moment before he tucked in.

“I was thinking we should probably make a list of your hard limits.” He said.

“What’s that?” Maddie asked frowning.

“What you won’t do, sexually.”

“Would you actually consider it?” She asked him.

“Yes. In reality we should have done it sooner.” He stated.

“Why didn’t you?”

“I got carried away.” He shrugged and she laughed.

“Cole Black got carried away?” She teased. He smirked watching her eat for a moment before tucking into his own food.

“We should do something to celebrate the merger.” Maddie said after a few moments.

“What do you have in mind?” He asked and she almost blushed at the tone of his voice.

“Not that, I meant something respectable. Like go out for a meal.”

He smirked. “Is that what you class as respectable Maddie?”

She shrugged. “Definitely more respectable than what you did to me tonight.”

He laughed. “What would you enjoy more? A nice dinner or me tying you to that wheel and punishing you for a few hours?”

She took a sip of her champagne, acting like there was even a comparison.

“I think you know the answer to that.” She replied and he laughed again.

“How about you give me both then?” He said.

She frowned confused. “I give you both?”

“We go for a nice meal and then you promise to let me do whatever I want after.”

“I thought you’d already done that with the sushi.”

He laughed again. “No Maddie. I’ve only been getting started.” He stated and she felt her jaw drop. What the hell else did he have up his sleeve she wondered and he smirked before taking another bite of his dinner.
