Maddie grinned.

“He keeps looking at you.” Becky said with a grin.

Maddie narrowed her eyes. “Who?”

“Cole. Not often but more than he should be.” Becky said grinning even more.

“For fucksake.” Maddie muttered and she glanced over then meeting his eyes before looking away.

“Oh my god it’s him isn’t it?” Becky half cried.

“Who?” Maddie asked confused.

“Cole. You’re fucking Cole?” Becky stated.

Maddie screwed her face up slightly. “If I said yes…”

“Fucking hell Maddie. Why didn’t you tell me?” Becky looked like all her Christmases had come at once.

Maddie winced. “I didn’t want you to judge me.”

“Why would I?” Becky asked.

“Because he’s our boss.” Maddie stated.

“Pfft, Brandon’s our boss, Cole’s the CEO.” Becky replied.

“Exactly.” Maddie said.

“Seriously Maddie every girl in this place would give their right arm to go to bed with him.” Becky stated.

Maddie sighed.

“What’s he like? Tell me everything.” Becky said leaning forward across the table.

“He’s intense.” Maddie said.

“That’s it? That’s all your giving me?” Becky asked.

Maddie laughed. “If I told you he’s exhausting, he never seems to run out of stamina and that he has a serious thing about control would you believe me?”

“Shut up, you’re making me seriously jealous right now.” Becky joked folding her arms.

Maddie laughed again.

“So let me get this straight, you spent your entire weekend with Cole fucking your brains out and you don’t even look happy about it…” Becky said.

“I never said I wasn’t happy about it.” Maddie replied and they both burst out laughing.

“Let’s get some more drinks. And you can make sweet eyes at Cole.” Becky teased.

“It’s just sex Becky. There’s nothing more to it.” Maddie stated.

“Yeah but this is Cole. Just sex is every girl’s wet dream.” Becky said back and Maddie rolled her eyes as they walked back to the bar and ordered another round.

Brandon walked up to say hi and Becky immediately started talking to him leaving Maddie stuck beside Cole. She wondered if Becky had done it on purpose, to leave her with Cole but Becky wasn’t really like that she reasoned.

“Why are you so cheerful this evening?” He asked her and she raised an eyebrow.

“Seriously?” She replied letting the irritation ring in her voice.

He narrowed his eyes and she sighed.

“Are you stalking me?” She said.

“Would you like me to stalk you Maddie? Would that turn you on?” He smirked.

“Urgh. Tell me you and Brandon just decided to come have a drink and this is all some happy coincidence.” She sighed.

“It is partly.” He said.
