“Cole what the hell is this?” She asked.

“Relax, this isn’t my way of tricking you into moving in with me.” He said.

“It better not be.” She replied.

He smirked then. “You have to admit there are advantages to it though.”

“Like what?” She asked.

“Like having you at my beck and call. Whenever I want.” He said placing his hands on her shoulders and sending a thrill through her that she tried to ignore.

“You have that already.” She stated.

“Yeah but I recall someone wanting to take things up a notch or two…” He said his eyes now scanning over her and she felt her heart suddenly race. “And that can only be done at one place…”

She bit her lip, feeling the intensity all of a sudden. Was he really saying what she thought he was?

He ran his hands down her back before gripping her waist and pulling her into him.

“Would you like that Maddie? Me to punish you more?” He asked quietly. Seductively.

“It depends what you have in mind.” She replied half breathless and knowing he could hear it.

“Pack your bags and I’ll show you.” He said staring at her now like a god damn treat he was looking to devour and it was all she could do to walk away while trying to maintain some semblance of control over herself, some semblance of control over her body.

Damn him she thought, because he was already winning her over, already getting her to give up what little freedom she had and she wasn’t even putting up a fight about it.

They walked down to the underground carpark and Maddie wondered if he was planning on driving her Defender and then she shook her head seeing what was in her second usually empty parking space.

“You really made yourself at home didn’t you?” She said and he laughed.

“What else did you expect?” He replied unlocking the black Aston Martin DBX, parked right there next to her Defender like it belonged before putting her bags in the boot.

She rolled her eyes getting in the passenger seat. The car was ridiculous, flashy, expensive and so Cole like it practically oozed out masculinity from the vents.

“Tell me you didn’t choose this because Bond drives an Aston Martin?” She murmured.

“Do you think I’m that basic Maddie?” He replied giving her a hard look.

“No.” She replied.

“Good. That’s the right answer.” He said starting the engine and letting it purr for a second. She had to admit it, it sounded good.

“What would you have done if I said yes to that?” She asked.

“I would have spanked you.” He replied and she laughed then.

He drove out of the carpark and down the road, turning quickly out onto the central London roads. Maddie looked around, her eyes scanning the neighbourhood while she wondered what exactly Cole’s place would be like. Would he have a mansion? God knows he was rich enough, or would he have some townhouse out Chelsea way. She glanced at him, trying to imagine him there but it didn’t fit.

“What are you thinking?” He asked her.

“I’m trying to figure out what kind of house you live in.” She said.

“Why don’t you wait and see? It might surprise you.” He said.

“I don’t like surprises.” She stated.
