Jennifer shook her head and turned on her heel, pushing past his secretary and storming out. If the damn man was too stupid to see what she was then she’d make it so he couldn’t deny it. She’d do whatever it took. Whatever was needed to break them up.

“Would you like anything Mr. Black?” His secretary asked.

“No I’m good thanks Cara.” He said staring back at the photos. This was it wasn’t it. It explained all the secrecy, all the mystery calls and messages. All of it.

He shuffled them all up, putting them back in the envelope and tucked them into his jacket pocket. He needed to speak to Brandon. He needed Brandon to confirm what he already knew.

Only Brandon didn’t pick up the phone. Clearly he was in a meeting and too busy to talk.

He snarled grabbing his jacket, grabbing his wallet, and stormed out of his office. He needed to think. He needed to clear his head. He needed to get rid of his anger and think rationally.

“Take the rest of the day off Cara.” He said.

“Really Mr. Black?” His secretary replied shocked.

“Yeah. I’m heading out. Go enjoy the day.” He muttered.
