Cole shook his head. “I can’t stop thinking about what they did to her last time. What she might be going through.”

“We’re going to get her back Cole.” Brandon said.

“And I’m going to kill every one of those fuckers who hurt her.” Cole growled slamming his hand into table.

They both looked up as Becky knocked on the door, her face ghostly pale, holding a laptop.

“What is it?” Cole asked.

“You might want to see this.” She said quietly.

“What?” Brandon said.

She walked avoiding their gazes and set the laptop down.

They stared at the screen. It was some sort of video, with three different angles, the lighting was bad, really bad but every so often they could make out something moving.

They both jumped as Cole’s phone rang.

He frowned picking it up.

“Hello Cole.” Jamie said. “I see you got the video.”

“Jamie?” Cole said confused. He hadn’t spoken to the guy since he’d fired him for gross misconduct almost a year ago. He’d been sexually harassing a girl on reception for months and he’d finally had enough evidence to get rid just after Jamie’s performance in the briefing room with Maddie.

“Blast from the past eh?” Jamie said.

“What the fuck do you want?” He snarled.

Jamie laughed. “Nothing right now. I just want you to watch.”

“Watch what?” Cole snapped.

“The video. It’s a live feed.” Jamie stated.

“Of what?”

“More like of whom?” Jamie corrected him. “Don’t you recognise her? You fucked her enough times..” He said.

“You fucking prick.” Cole snarled staring at the screen.

Jamie laughed. “Call me all the names you want Cole but it changes nothing.”

“Let her go.”

“Not a chance. I’ve waited too long for this.” Jamie said.

“When I get hold of you…”

“By the time you do, it’ll be too late. Your precious girlfriend will be dead. You’ve got three days Cole, three days to try and save her and you won’t. You’re gonna watch her slowly suffocate and maybe when she’s dead, I might toss her body somewhere for you to find.”

“I’ll fucking kill you.” Cole snarled.

Jamie laughed. “Three days Cole. Enjoy the show because I know I will.” He hung up and Cole snarled, launching his phone at the wall and watching it smash.

“Jamie?” Brandon said. “As in..?”

“Yeah. Apparently he didn’t take his sacking all too well.” Cole said staring back at the screen. He could make her out now, her face, her body too in the shadowy light. Her wrists were tied and from the angle of one it looked like she wasn’t wearing anything on her bottom half. She kept fidgeting, moving her head, shifting in the cramped space.
