He leered at her. “Just like Burke did. It was so obvious Cooper, only you couldn’t see it.”

“Fuck off.” She snapped.

He ran his hand up her leg to her arse and she snarled. “You’ve got a nice body I’ll admit that Cooper.” He said. “But I prefer my women more submissive.”

“Fuck you.” Maddie stated.

He laughed.

“Get your fucking hands off her.” Cole snarled.

“Of course, because the great Cole Black has staked his claim hasn’t he?” Holden said turning his attention to him.

“Don’t fucking touch her.” Cole said.

Holden laughed. “And what are you going to do to stop me Cole? You’re so used to getting your own way, to running the show, only right now…” He pointed his gun at him. “I’m running this one. I’m in charge.”

“Why are you doing this?” Maddie asked. “Because of Mitchell?”

Holden glanced at her. “If you think this is all because of Mitchell then you’re stupider than I thought.”

She rolled over onto her back, facing him, glaring at him. “Then tell us. You’re going to kill us anyway right? Why not spill the beans before you blow our heads off?”

He smirked. “Would you like that Cooper? Me to give you some answers?”

“I’d rather you pointed that fucking gun away from my face.” She snapped.

He leant over her shoving the barrel right up where her neck met her chin making her flex her head away. “I’ll point it wherever the hell I want and there’s fuck all you can do right now to stop me.”

“Hey arsehole. Leave her alone.” Brandon growled.

Holden glanced at him, taking the gun away. “Brandon.” He said. “I was wondering when you were going to grow some balls and say something.”

“Go fuck yourself.” Brandon replied.

Holden laughed. “I have a question for you Brandon. Do you like playing second fiddle, always living in the shadow of your cousin?”

Brandon scowled at him. “The fuck you know about it.”

“What’s it like to run BlackWater but have Cole always stepping in, taking over huh?”

“Fuck off.” Cole growled.

“No you fuck off Cole. We’re not talking to you right now. This is about me and Brandon.” Holden said. “And why he always lets you take the lead. Why he never had the balls to stop you.”

“What do you know about it?” Maddie said before she could stop herself.

Holden grinned looking between them. “Oh I see what this is now.” He said. “You’re fucking them both aren’t you?” He said leaning over Maddie once more.

She screwed her face up. “What?”

“You’re spreading your legs for both the Black boys. Do they take in turns Cooper? One fucks you and then the other?”

“What the fuck are you talking about?” Maddie snapped.

“You’re a whore Cooper, aren’t you? Turns out Mitchell was right after all, he just wasn’t your type. Didn’t have enough money huh?”
