“Fuck.” She moaned as she felt a bolt of pain shoot the whole way through her damn leg. She looked around, seeing all the bodies, all the people fighting. What the fuck was this? Why were there so many people?

Dani screamed as someone pinned her down and Maddie narrowed her eyes seeing the way the man did it, pinning her arms behind her back, just like law enforcement.

Someone slammed into her and she fell sprawling onto the ground.

“Get the fuck off me.” She shouted and whoever it was immediately let go and sprang away.

“What the…?” Maddie muttered getting back to her feet.

“We’re BlackWater.” Max shouted and everyone suddenly stopped.

“What the fuck is this?” Maddie asked looking around and suddenly realising that all of them were Agents, every last one of them.

“Who the fuck are you?” The nearest guy said and she shook her head.

“Maddie Cooper. Major Crime. And you?” She snapped back.

“Shit.” The guy said, his face literally draining.

“What team?” Max demanded and they all looked at each other.

“Brandon’s.” Someone muttered and Maddie’s head spun as she turned to look in the direction of who’d said it.

“You have got to be fucking kidding me.” She muttered.

“Let me go.” Dani shouted, still the only one pinned to the floor.

“You heard her. Let her go.” Maddie stated.

“Not a chance. We’ve got orders.” The man nearest stated.

“She’s my informant.” Maddie snapped back. “Let her go now.”

“Take it up with Brandon if you don’t like it.” He replied smirking and nodding his head as they hauled Dani out.

Maddie narrowed her eyes. “Oh I will.” She said before walking out after them.
