“And then what?”

He sighed. “And then accused me of kidnapping.”

“Kidnapping?” I blurted out. “Kidnapping who—”

And then it hit me. They were accusing him of kidnapping me.

“Oh…”

“Yeah,” he grunted as he leaned back against the wall. This was serious, but it was really hard to keep my eyes on his—what with the sculpted abs and enormous cock right there in front of me. “I’ve got Rufus, my second in command, formulating a strategy right now on how to combat this. But I think this is going to do irreparable damage.”

“Kai,” I said slowly. “I know you’re not exploiting girls. You would never do that. But—do you have the records to prove it?”

“We take IDs and entrance and exit interviews during each casting,” he explained. “And we’ve never had one formal complaint, so I think we would definitely beat a case in court. But there’s the whole reputation thing…”

“Well…” I thought. “I think I have a solution for that.”

Kai’s eyes lit up and my heart warmed. I pressed a hand against his bulwark chest.

“I’ll do an interview,” I said. “Explaining to everyone what happened—how you didn’t kidnap me—well, you did, but not in the way they think, and how incredible of a man you are. If that fucking blogger bitch wants to come after me, and let me tell you, when it comes to my man, I’m not afraid to smack a bitch!”

Kai’s pained face twisted into a smile and he burst out laughing. He wrapped his bulging biceps around my neck and pulled me close to him. I tried not to let his massive cock pressing against my mound interrupt the emotional moment we were having, but it was hard.

“You really are incredible,” he said. “But I don’t want to drag you into this.”

“I’m already in this!” I replied quickly. “I’ve been involved from the minute I stepped into those offices. If they call girls to testify, I’d be in that group, up there on the stand being questioned. But now? Now I have a real opportunity to tell the truth about you, and once the world hears what I have to say, there will be no case on you anymore.”

“God, you’re incredible,” Kai replied. “My little doll is a serious badass.”

“Damn right I am!” I laughed. “And it’s like we said, Kai. I’m yours. Now and forever.”

Kai nuzzled against my neck and whispered back. “Now and forever.”

Chapter Twelve

Kai

“So, for the final time, to sum all this up—you’re saying that Kai Forte didn’t kidnap you? That you weren’t being exploited by Goddesses of Ecstasy and that you and Kai are now romantically involved?”

The news anchor was really drilling her, and there was nothing I could d

o to help her. I had to sit there and watch the TV screen like everybody else, while Gwen gave her statement and did her best to save the company.

“That’s what I’m saying, Jenny,” Gwen said with a smile. If she was nervous, she wasn’t showing it. “And not only that, Kai has shut down Goddesses of Ecstasy as of this morning, and is refocusing his father’s company on things like renewable energy, philanthropy and environmentally conscious products.”

“You sound like his PR person,” Jenny, the news anchor, replied. It was a bit of a jab, but Gwen handled it like she had been trained in public relations.

“No, I’m just his loving girlfriend who doesn’t like seeing her man’s reputation smeared by some faceless troll on the internet.”

Jenny had to smile at that one, but she pressed on with her questions. “So, you’re saying that the closing of this sex toy company subsidiary of Forte Industries has nothing to do with covering up the scandal?”

“Look, Jenny,” Gwen smiled. “There is zero evidence of any wrongdoing on the behalf of Goddesses of Ecstasy, Forte Industries or Kai Forte himself. The closing of the company was coming before these lies were published online, as Kai—as I stated before—seeks to refocus the company on bigger and better things.”

“Well, okay, Gwen,” Jenny said with a smile. She had done her job asking all the right questions, but she believed everything Gwen had said. I was actually off the hook. It was a miracle. “I really appreciate you coming on the program today and I think I can say on behalf of everyone; we’re glad you weren’t kidnapped.”

Although Gwen just smiled, I could see her fighting not to make a joke. The split-screen ended, leaving just the news anchor to wrap things up. As I turned off the TV, Rufus practically exploded with applause. He whooped and hollered like a frat boy and clapped me on the back.

“Hell, yeah! Forte industries, baby! We don’t go down without a fight!”
