But he was right—I wasn’t “getting any right now.” It wasn’t lack of options. A billionaire always has those. But I’d grown tired of the parade of vapid gold diggers with fake tits and even faker smiles. All they wanted was my money. I saw right through them.

“I’ll handle our little issue,” Rufus replied, waving his hand. “What’s a COO good for if not managing bullshit in his boss’ life?”

He flashed me that million-dollar smile that had helped him move up the ladder at Forte. It worked on everybody, including me sometimes. I buzzed Janine in the front office.

“Janine? Hold my calls unless it’s urgent. I’m heading out of the office for an hour.”

“There he is!” Rufus exclaimed. “The man! Ready to have some fun!”

“Don’t get ahead of yourself, pal. If I’m not satisfied with what I see, we’re shutting it down.”

I said that to make him happy and get him to shut the fuck up, but the fact of the matter was I was going to shut Goddesses of Ecstasy down when we got there, I just felt like the people deserved to hear it in person. I couldn’t understand what had motivated my father to acquire the company in the first place, and it was about time we got rid of it and moved on to the things we were meant to be doing.

I was quiet for most of the ride in the Maybach, listening to Rufus’ tales of debauchery, his time in Tijuana and all the girls he’d had down there.

“Dollar goes far in Mexico!” he laughed as we pulled up to the office of the doll company and stepped out.

“Thanks, Bruno,” I nodded to the driver.

“This is it,” Rufus said with a smile as we stepped through the door. The office was small, with ju

st one woman at the phone. She looked like she’d rather be doing anything else. Rufus flashed her his trademark grin as we passed. “Smile, Paula. Life’s short!”

“Fuck yourself, Rufus—” she started to reply, but when she looked up and saw me, she went pale as a ghost. “I mean—I’m sorry, sir—”

“Don’t be,” I laughed. “I’ve said that to him many a time.”

We went through the door into the back and that’s when Rufus really started beaming. Three girls sat in chairs, obviously here in response to the ads to have their bodies cast to be one of the dolls. They were undeniably good-looking. The first was a blonde with long legs, the second was a brunette with perfect breasts on full display beneath a white t-shirt with no bra, and the third was fit, probably a personal trainer.

“Butterface on the gym rat,” Rufus chuckled to me. “But I bet she’s got an ass I’d eat without thinking twice! Why don’t I introduce you? We could bring all three home tonight?”

“Why don’t we not, Rufus?” I replied. “Who’s in charge here anyway?”

But before Rufus could answer, the door opened and another girl stepped into the room. And when she did, my entire world shifted forever. I actually had to reach out and brace myself on the doorframe to keep from falling over, doing my best to make it look like a casual lean.

Holy fuck, look at her!

She didn’t belong here. Not in a place like this. She was too innocent. I could see it in those beautiful blue eyes that she was looking at me with that were making me weak in the knees. She was the definition of gorgeous and she didn’t even know it.

From the looks of her, she was a college girl, or on her way to being one. She was wearing black yoga pants that hugged every one of her delicious curves, and although she was holding a sweatshirt, she wore a fraying t-shirt that did nothing to hide her spectacular tits from anyone who wanted to look at them.

I could feel my cock pumping between my legs and shifted my stance as it started to swell into a full erection.

What the fuck is happening to me?

Suddenly, I felt furious that there was anyone else in the room to witness this beautiful creature, this goddess, this untouched beauty. I raged as I thought about how many men had checked out her ass in those skin-tight pants while she was on the way here, or how many of them had tried to catch a glimpse of a nipple through that shirt of hers. I was already right on the fucking edge, feeling something I’d never felt before; jealousy. And when Rufus made a sound beside me, I almost lost it.

No, scumbag. You don’t get to look at her.

“You know what I didn’t tell you, Kai?” he whispered into my ear. “I’m not just down here to show off the company to you. I’m here to do a molding myself—personally. And I think I just made the easiest decision of my life on who it’s going to be today.”

I don’t fucking think so. She’s mine.

“Everybody out!” I shouted so loudly that two of the girls screeched and almost fell out of their seats. Even Rufus backed away a step.

“Boss...?”

“You heard me,” I repeated. “Everybody out!”
