We all laugh and then Ryan calls out that the food is ready. Everyone fills their plates and we sit around the pool and just talk. Jasmine tells us about her show in Milan, the guys share some funny stories about their trip to Hawaii and then everyone looks at us.

“The Guess shoot was…” I look over at Nick and smile. “Well, a dream come true. It was all a whirlwind and what happened between us was sudden, but I’ve never been happier.”

“Then, we’re happy for you,” Mason says. I appreciate how sincere and grown-up he’s being about the situation.

“Thank you, Mason,” I say and give him a little smile.

Congratulations fill the air and a moment later I see Morgan heading over. I’m assuming she worked late again. Probably picked up an extra shift to help pay some of her mom’s hospital bills. With her brown hair and blue eyes, Morgan is a natural beauty. She doesn’t need to pile on the makeup or dress skimpy to get a man’s attention. I wish she’d catch a break with acting, but as more time passes, her dream seems to be fading away.

“Hey, guys,” she says and pulls up a chair. Up close, I immediately notice the dark circles under her eyes and it looks like she may have been crying earlier. I feel bad that her mom is so sick. We all do.

Ryan hands her a plate with a hotdog. “Eat up, kid. Looks like you haven’t had a bite in days.”

“Thank you,” she says.

As the afternoon goes on, some people jump in the pool while others sit around and catch up on each other’s lives. While Mason and Cody take turns doing cannonballs into the deep end, the girls and I sit in lounge chairs and chat. Nearby, Nick seems to be making friends with Ryan.

“Looks like Foxy Flyboy might have found a new friend, y’all,” Jasmine says.

“God knows he needs one,” Taylor adds. “The man never leaves this complex. If I didn't know better, I’d say he’s cursed and stuck here or something.”

“So, what’s he like?” Jasmine asks me in a low voice, waggling her perfect eyebrows. “Last time I saw you, Savannah Hart, you were a quiet, little virgin. And, now you’re married to a hottie.”

“That’s Savannah Knight now, thank you very much. And, I’ve never been one to kiss and tell-”

“Because you never did any kissing,” Taylor interrupts.

“Look who’s talking,” I say and Taylor just shrugs. Like me, Morgan and Taylor never have boyfriends.

“I bet she’s doing more than kissing now,” Morgan says, eyeing Nick. “He looks...demanding.”

They all burst into laughter and Nick and Ryan glance over.

“Let’s just say I’ve learned quite a few things and I have no complaints when it comes to that.”

“We want details,” Jasmine cries.

My face flushes and I adjust my sunglasses. “He’s...perfect. In every way.”

“Now that sounds like a lady who’s satisfied,” Taylor says with a smirk. “Does he have any single friends? And, I don’t care how old they are!”

“Right?” Morgan adds. “Maybe we all need to find ourselves an older man.”

“Dibs on Foxy Flyboy,” Taylor says and we all die laughing.

“Actually,” I say in a low voice, “I need some advice.”

“Bedroom advice?” Jazz asks with a smirk and I nod.

“Well, don’t look at me,” Taylor says.

“Or, me,” Morgan adds. “That’s why Jazz is here.”

“Well, Nick is very, ah, dominant in the bedroom.”

“Can’t say I’m surprised,” Jasmine says. “He’s a total alpha male used to bossing people around all day on set.”

“Right. But, I kind of want to surprise him and shake things up instead of being so submissive all the time.”
