“What’s wrong?” asked Cass.

“I don’t know. Something is up with Bodhi. I’ll be right back.” Cade walked toward Bodhi, frowning. “Everything okay?”

“I don’t know. Vivienne moved back here almost two weeks ago and didn’t tell me,” he said, frowning. “Why would she do that unless she was hiding something from me?”

“Bodhi, she might have just been settling into her new place. Where is she living?”

“Here,” he frowned. “On the fucking property.”

“I’m sorry, Bodhi,” said Irene, staring up at the man. “She asked that I keep it quiet for a while. She needed some time to get her head together. She’ll explain everything in due time, but just know it was nothing to do with you.” Irene walked away, and Bodhi just stared at the woman.

“Give her time, Bodhi. She’ll make herself known to you when she’s ready,” said Cade.

He nodded, ready to say something, when Cam spoke up.

“Alright, you know who you are. Get your gear, and let’s move to the jets. We need to be in Somalia like yesterday. Move it!”

Cassidy reached for Cade’s hand, pulling him toward her.

“Come back to me, Cade. Please.”

“I will always come back to you, baby. We’re gonna make sure your brothers and the others are alright, find Hausman and Pitre, and then you and I, Cassidy Pechkin, are going to have the biggest wedding this place has seen in years.”

She laughed, nodding as he kissed her.

“Do me one favor?” he asked. She smiled, kissing him again and nodding. “See what’s going on with Vivienne. She returned but didn’t tell Bodhi. I’m trying to figure out why.”

“I’ll go see her,” she said. “I love you, Cade.”

“Love you more.”
