I nodded. She took a step forward, resting her hand on my face. “My sweet girl, I'd recognize those green eyes anywhere. Look at you, you’re all grown up.”

I collapsed into her arms, as she hugged me back. The two of us crying.

“We have to get out of here. The police will be here soon.” Arturo said.

I looked at Arturo and nodded. “How are we going to get them out of here? They won't all fit in the SUV’s.”

Marco ran around the truck and looked at us. “Elena?”

She turned and looked at him with a smile. She ran jumping into his arms.

I looked at Marco and shook my head. He nodded. “I’ll tell you everything, but right now we have to get out of here. We will make it work, there are fifteen girls we will just pile them in. go.”

We started unloading the girls, splitting them between the two SUVs. Elena kept reassuring them it would be ok. We sped off. I looked at Arturo, he reached over and patted my shoulder. “It will be okay.”

I let out a long sigh of relief and glanced over at Marco and Elena in the other SUV. After all these years I had finally found her. I looked down to check my AR, putting a new mag in. Now all I had left to do was kill the man I thought was my father. The man who had taken her from me, the man who tried to take all the good things in my life. He would pay, he would pay for everything.

Arturo drove to a building on the other end of the city. We got out and helped the girls inside. Doc pulled up with one of Arturo’s men. “How bad do they look?”

I shook my head, “I don't know, they're pretty scared.”

He nodded and we made our way in. One by one he checked the girls, only doing what they were comfortable with. Elena stayed with each girl as Doc looked them over and asked them questions. We got them some food and clothes and then let anyone that wanted to take a shower. One girl named Cammy who was only ten had been sitting right next to me since we got here and wouldn't leave my side. Elena came and took her to let Doc check her out.

I walked over, standing next to Arturo as he stood looking over the girls. “Some of them are so young.”

I watched his jaw clench as he nodded. “What kind of monster can do this?”

“Thank you.”

He looked down at me. “For what?” “Helping me get her out. I know you would have rather gone after Charlie.”

He stared ahead his eyes cold. I had seen this look in his eyes from time to time, it was like he shut a part of himself off when it happened. “I just made the logical choice. I don't know where she is for sure, but we knew where Elena would be.”

I pulled him into a hug. “Don’t give up. We’ll find her. Charlie is the priority now.”

He looked down at me and smiled, shaking his head. “Thanks. Things are going to change now. Gabriele will be out for revenge, and he is going to come after us with all he has.”

“Oh, I'm counting on it. I’m going to kill him.”

“You know I have your back. Let’s get the girls somewhere safe. Get Luka and Nick out of the hospital then we’ll focus on Charlie and taking out Gabriele.” I nodded. “Call him.”

“Who?” I asked.

“Luka. You know he’s sitting in that hospital bed stressing out if you’re okay.”

I rolled my eyes. “Fine.” I pulled out my phone and walked into one of the other rooms, dialing his number.

His voice was hurried. “Hello? Alora?”

“Yes.”

“Are you goof?”

“I’m fine.”

I heard him let out a long sigh. “Good. What happened, did you find Elena? Did you get her out?”

“Yes, she’s here, we got her out and fifteen girls. Doc is checking everyone out and then we will start finding places for them.”
