As I woke up the next morning, snugly tucked into Elwin’s side and Lucien spooning me, I couldn’t help but bite my lip as I thought of last night. I’d have never guessed that Elwin could take control like that, but damn, it just worked perfectly.
While I trusted all of my monsters, I didn’t think I would’ve enjoyed it as much if Kylo or Lucien were to have done that with me. Lucien was so impulsive, I probably would’ve been worried I’d get stuck in an insane situation I couldn’t get out of with my wrists bound. Then with Kylo, I wasn’t sure if I could have held back from challenging him. It was hot to hear him command me in the shower for a brief moment, but when I thought of it going further, I pictured myself pushing him to the floor and taking over.
Truly, Elwin made my heart calm, no matter what. He was logical and kind, and I knew that would translate into whatever situation we were in together. It allowed me to completely let go.
After he’d proven that I was a damn lucky woman to have three monsters who could eat pussy so well, I’d admitted during our intimate moment of cuddling that he wasn’t the only one discovering himself still. All three of them were opening my eyes and showing me that there was so much more to life than the box I’d put myself into.
A soft snore sounded at my back right as my bedroom door opened, and Kylo popped his head in. Seeing me awake, he smiled, showing off those enticing dimples. “Need an extraction?” he offered, seeing just how wedged I was between the two.
He had relinquished his spot in my bed last night after he’d held me all night during our movie marathon. It was amazing how easy they were making it to ensure no one felt left out. I was immensely grateful, because I wasn’t sure if I was capable of choosing if put in the position. I didn’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings.
Lucien tightened his grip around my waist and let out a low whine, as if even in sleep, he knew I was about to be taken from him. My heart did a little flip at the thought. I wasn’t sure how it was going to work with the new living arrangements we were going to find ourselves in today, but I secretly hoped I had at least one of them with me every night.
“Yeah,” I finally answered after heaving out a sigh of defeat. “I should probably pack my stuff to transfer over to the dorm.” Then, trying to peek over Elwin and failing, I asked, “What time is it?”
When we’d gone to bed last night, I realized that there was a shiny new white, digital alarm clock on one nightstand. At first it had been a weird thought, that someone had been in our space when we weren’t here, but then I realized there was the very real possibility that it had appeared via magic. The notion made me feel better, so I was going with it.
We’d stayed up late watching the full Matrix trilogy, despite saying we weren’t going to watch action. When I realized what they were missing out on, I convinced them to watch it and they had loved them, but damn had it been late when the last was finally over. The time had passed surprisingly fast, but it was possible that was because Elwin and I kept giving each other knowing smirks as we clearly replayed what had happened between us and all the possibilities for the future.
Every featherlight touch he’d given me throughout the night—a soft caress to my back, a kiss to my hand, or just a simple smile—had felt so damn intense. To Lucien and Kylo it probably just looked like sweet Elwin being affectionate, but to me it was a lingering promise of more.
“It’s almost eleven o’clock,” Kylo chirped as he made his way to the bottom of the bed and grabbed the bottom of the comforter. Giving it a sharp tug, he pulled it straight off of the three of us and yelled, “Get up, fuckers!”
We assumed that there was no set time for move-in day, so I wasn’t going to stress how late we’d slept in. The plan for today was to lounge and relax together between me tossing my stuff into the boxes they’d arrived in. It would have been a daunting task if I cared about everything getting wrinkled, but seeing as the school had provided me with quadruple the amount of clothing a normal person could need, I wasn’t worried.
It honestly didn’t feel like it was all mine, and I felt odd about accepting such a generous gift. But I didn’t really have any other choice, seeing as we had no money and no stores around to get our own items even if we did have cash. Which also made me wonder where the perfectly fitting clothes came from—but once again, I chalked it up to magic.
Lucien snarled and hauled me off of Elwin’s chest, making me squeal as he turned us to the other side and curled his large body around mine, like he could hide me from the world.
“Lucien!” I heaved out beneath his heavy arms smothering me. “Can’t breathe!”
“Fineeee,” he whined as he lifted his arm and leg off of me. “But for the record, I could have kept you occupied for another couple hours, angel.”
The change from sweet, sleepy Lucien, to tempting and sensual Lucien was something I was quickly realizing would be a norm. I swear he had a simple switch between all his moods. Once it was flipped, he was all in with whatever it was. There was never an in-between.
Crawling out of the bed and flashing him a wink over my shoulder, I made my way to the walk-in closet. Elwin had done such an amazing job hanging them all in color coordinated order, and I hated to take it all down just to have to put it back up somewhere else so quickly.
“I’m going to cook breakfast,” Elwin announced, his voice easily carrying through the bedroom to me. “Want anything specific, love?”
“Chocolate chip pancakes.”
A snort came from me at Lucien’s response.
“You are not who I was asking.”
“You don’t love me?” Lucien retorted, gasping in mock offense.
“I’m good with anything,” I called out, leaving them to their brotherly banter as Kylo brought boxes over to me. After I thanked him and got my good morning kiss, he told me he was going to take a dip in the pool after breakfast, if I wanted to join.
Determined to make the most of the next few hours, I focused on getting everything from the closet and dresser into boxes, taking a break to eat the pancakes Elwin gave into making. Putting on a bikini and leaving out clothes to change into later, I swam with Kylo and enjoyed the peaceful water and cuddles he’d given me before Lucien cannonballed in and turned it into a splash war.
It was a cathartic time, but it came to an end all too soon as the first signs of the dimming sun signaled the need to bring everything to my new dorm. After showering and changing into leggings and one of Lucien’s shirts—he’d made me swear to sleep in it when I wasn’t with him—we grabbed the boxes and began the move.
Opting for their monster forms—much to my excitement, because I was sorely missing seeing them like that—they made quick work of grabbing all the boxes with their double sets of hands, careful to not shred them as they did.
Nerves swarmed in my stomach like an angry nest of bees that had been kicked as I stopped at the end of the path leading up to the dorm house that was to be my new home.
