A true laugh came from me at his adorable ways. No one would think the bloodthirsty killer of the group was actually the neediest one. It was an adorable combo.
Butterflies spread in my stomach at the thought of kissing them now that I knew they were real. It felt different. But I didn’t want the fear of the unknown to hold me back from this newfound happiness.
So I looked up at Elwin next to me and reached up for his neck. They were so damn tall that I couldn’t reach them on my own. “You don’t have to, love,” he whispered, but I saw the hunger in his eyes.
“Shut up and kiss me,” I answered breathily.
He didn’t make me wait long, swooping down and wrapping his arms around my back as he pressed his lips to mine. I nipped him playfully and felt his answering smile before pressing two more chaste kisses to his lips.
He pulled back and dropped a kiss to my forehead before letting me go. I’d never get fucking tired of forehead kisses. They were like a drug.
Kylo and Lucien stood next to each other near my bed, and I padded over to them. Passing Lucien and tossing him a wink, I reached up for Kylo, who needed no coercing to meld his lips to mine. His tongue slipped in gently and I opened for him, loving how passionate he was with his kisses. It was so easy to get lost in them.
A throat cleared, and I giggled as we broke off our kiss, dropping back down to the soles of my feet.
“Yes, Lucien?” I questioned like I had no idea what he wanted.
“That’s not funny, angel,” he growled and gently pulled me to him. Capturing my face in his large hands, he swooped down to kiss me. Kiss might not have been the proper word, though. He devoured me until I wasn’t sure if I was even breathing anymore. All I needed was his touch to survive.
With a frustrated snarl, he stood back before swatting my ass. “Go. You’re going to be late.”
Fuck.He was right.
“Okay, shit, yeah,” I mumbled frantically and ran for the door. Stopping to look back at them one more time, I demanded, “Lock the door behind me.”
If there was a magical bounty hunter around here, there was no way I’d give off any of the energy or whatever it was they were searching for. But my three monsters definitely would.
