I nodded. Even if it had only been a few hours, and he was no more than a few doors away from me, I missed him every time he was out of my sight, and I didn’t care what that made me by admitting to such.

“Almost done. Then I’ll have you all to myself.”

My stomach dropped in anticipation, and I couldn’t wait. I rose up, and even on my tiptoes, my lips only reached his jaw. So I kissed him there, knowing how crazy it drove him when I did that.

He let out a silent groan, and I hid my smile in his chest.

Mason clapped loudly. “Game night over, boys. I’m taking my wife home so she can rest.”

Olivia pinched Mason’s side, and he let out a playful squeak that I would have never in a million years have imagined him making. Everyone laughed, including me, and then we walked them out the door.

Mason hugged me goodbye, and even though he was such as big man, there was something about his presence that put me at ease. Gage, on the other hand, was still distantly polite, but he wasn’t as cold when he first came here.

My guess? Logan noticed the way Gage was looking at me and probably said something to him when they were in Logan’s office.

And I wasn’t going to complain.

It wasn’t as if I couldn’t handle someone disliking me. I was tougher than that, but Logan solved it for me.

Olivia gave me a longer hug than others, and I knew when she pulled away and we shared wide smiles with each other that she and I were going to be really good friends.

We closed the door behind them, and then it was just Logan and me. I held his gaze for a beat, and just as I predicted, he was on me in a flash. I let out a squeal that I would have never in million years thought I would make, all the while, Logan carried me to his bedroom, and he proceeded to show me all the ways he could make me scream, and beg, and moan.
