He covered the mouthpiece. “Olivia just went into labor. Max is driving her to the hospital now, and Hayden’s with her.”

“What? Isn’t she not due for another two weeks?”

“We thought the baby might come a month early. It’s a miracle she’s only two weeks early,” he said, and though he sounded calm, I could hear the worry in his voice. “I should have been home already.”

I shook my head. “Don’t beat yourself up. Max will get them there in time, okay?”

“Yeah,” he answered, but he didn’t sound convinced.

“What’s going on?” We both turned to find Gage standing at the door, his arms crossed over his chest.

“Olivia went into labor. Max is driving her there now, and we need to move,” I said, because it didn’t look like Mason was capable of saying anything at this point.

“No shit? Then what are we waiting for? Let’s go.”
