A cough tookme out of my thoughts, and I looked up to find Evelyn standing there, wearing a little black dress with thin straps and three-inch heels that made her legs look phenomenal.

Her hair was curled, parted to the side, and her makeup made her big brown eyes look even bigger.

She looked fucking beautiful, and I was speechless.

Jensen took in the scene when he came back with four glasses of scotch and snorted. “Left you speechless, did she?” He looked over to Evelyn and winked, handing her a glass before walking over to me. Quietly, he said, “Marry the girl, man. It’s not every day you find a woman who can affect you like this.”

Before I could say anything to that, Emilia walked in, wearing a tiny red dress that was even tinier than Evelyn’s, strapless and only coming down to her mid-thigh. Emilia was tall and lean. Taller than Evelyn, so the fact that she was wearing something so small made me feel a bit uncomfortable.

I supposed I felt protective of her, considering she was Evelyn’s little sister, and she was young. I would probably be spending the night guarding these two, because no way in hell would I let anything happen to either of the Adler sisters.

I groaned internally and looked over to Jensen to see he was pulling the same face I had moments before when I took Evelyn in for the first time.

He was rendered speechless, and if I was even a little slower with my hands, I might not have caught the glass of scotch he dropped in time. I placed them on the coffee table and watched as Emilia blushed under Jensen’s gaze.

Evelyn walked over to me, an amusing smile playing on the ends of her lips, before she wrapped her arms around my waist and buried her face into my neck. With her high heels on, she almost reached my chin.

I quite like the way she moved to me, and the way she wrapped herself around me. And I couldn’t wait until later, when I brought her home and fucked her in nothing but the killer heels.

I shifted a little from the thought.

Briefly, I wondered if we could call the night out off just so I could bring Evelyn back to my bedroom.

Ms. Bennett walked in then, smiling at the sight of us. “Well, doesn’t everyone look nice.”

“Yes,” Jensen said slowly, his eyes never leaving Emilia. “Nice.”

“Jensen, stop drooling over my baby sister,” Evelyn said playfully.

Emilia let out an embarrassed groan. “Evelyn.”

Evelyn looked up and grinned, just as Jensen made his way over to Emilia. I heard him introducing himself.

I turned to Ms. Bennett. “Thanks again, for agreeing to watch Elliot.”

She waved a hand in front of herself. “Nonsense. Elliot is a good kid, so it’s not like this is any hardship. And besides, he’s sleeping, so I doubt he’ll be much trouble anyhow.”

“If he does wake up and there is any trouble—”

“I know to call you right away. Now, you kids have fun.”

I grimaced at that, before shooting her a playful smile. “You’re only ten years older than me. Since when did I become a kid in your eyes?”

“Since the moment you called me that one drunken night your freshman year of undergrad and asked me to pick you up.”

I groaned at the reminder. I had my fair shares of wild, reckless nights, especially during my college years, when I found myself away from home and away from my parents’ careful grooming.

She smiled and patted my shoulder on her way back out, and I turned to Evelyn. She showed me a toothy grin and it was taking all of my control not to lean in and kiss her.

Though I knew how little control I had when it came to her, so I didn’t give it a second thought when I kissed her then. It took her only a second to respond to me, but when she did, my kiss grew more urgent.

Something hit me in the face, and when I pulled away, I found a crumpled-up napkin lying at my feet. Both Jensen and Emilia were looking at us, varying degrees of amusement on their faces. I didn’t have to look at Evelyn to know she was blushing.

We had decided not to hide our relationship from Emilia, though I got the feeling she already knew when she caught Evelyn in my arms earlier today when I came home.

I looked at Evelyn and ran a single finger down her hot cheek. “Ready to go, baby?” I asked, taking in her whole outfit once more. It looked like a simple wind would blow the whole thing right off her.
