“You must have, because that’s him.”
“How would you even know what your wolf looks like?”
He gave me a crazy look. “You’ve never stood in front of a mirror looking at yours?”
“No,” I said with a snort.
“Well, you should. How the hell do you know what my wolf looks like?”
I couldn’t bring myself to tell him that I’d dreamed about it. I knew it must be the bond and we weren’t talking about that.
“Just a coincidence I guess.”
“You don’t even believe me.”
“I’m sure you have a gray wolf. Don’t they all look the same?”
“No,” he insisted.
He pointed to a unique mark I’d drawn into the wolf’s fur and then he started stripping out of his clothes.
“Wyatt,” I shrieked but quickly lowered my voice.
The last thing I wanted was for my cousin to walk in on this scene.
“Trust me,” he said as he stood naked before me.
My eyes deceived me as they lowered. Damn. He wasn’t just big like the rest, he was huge. I licked my lips before it even registered what I was doing.
Fortunately, I didn’t think Wyatt had noticed because one second I was drooling as he stood there and the next, he was a pretty large wolf.
Wyatt’s wolf turned around and I could feel my own surging to take control.
He nodded towards his butt where there was a very distinct marking in his fur.
I gasped. It was exactly like my drawing.
I got off the bed and went to take a closer look.
Kneeling before the large beast I hesitated, but he was watching and started to whimper as he nudged his head towards my open palm. His tail wagged and he sort of did this little happy dance.
When he tried to climb into my lap I laughed and pushed him away.
“Knock it off, Wyatt,” I said with a laugh.
He jumped back and whimpered.
My wolf nearly leapt from me as my hands started sprouting fur.
“Argh. Calm down,” I warned her.
Wyatt’s wolf must have noticed because he lunged towards me and rubbed up against me. I wasn’t strong enough to hold her back this time.
