Chapter10
Edan openedthe third door on the right, and my mouth nearly fell open at the size and luxury of my new chambers. My place at the guild was a broom closet in comparison, truly a room I’d shared with cleaning supplies. I hadn’t had a place to call my own, not really, and I didn’t know what to say.
“Is it to your liking?” Edan brushed my long, blue-streaked black hair away from my shoulder and placed a kiss there. “I’ll have Farina and a few others set you up with a new wardrobe, but as of now, everything you need is right here.”
I shifted to face him in shock. The room sparkled with its bold, rosy-pink, silver, and cream brocade wallpaper, flowing gold curtains, and a crystal chandelier that refracted warm light around the room. The balcony door was ajar, allowing a nice breeze to flow inside, causing the sheer curtains to lightly flutter. The room was breathtaking, like something you’d see in a princess fairytale.
A huge four-poster, cream-colored and velvet-upholstered canopy bed was situated in the middle of the room on a raised platform. It was draped in pink and gold gossamer that tied at the corners. The floors were made of the finest marble with what appeared to be lightning strikes of gold running through them. Plush rugs that led to a walk-in closet, and to the right of that was an en suite bathroom of my very own. Beautiful watercolor paintings adorned the walls, each a scene from that of Wisteria and Fairy—the wondrous waterfalls, fields of flowers, and even one of a young, raven-haired fairy.
Wait. Was that a depiction of me? “Edan, is that…” I pointed, losing my voice. “Is that me?”
He wrapped his arms around my waist and peered into my eyes. “Yes, sweet Tatiana. I had it made several years ago. If you don’t—”
I cut him off with a kiss, throwing my arms around his neck and pulling him farther into the room. Coming up for air, I managed, “It’s perfect. You’re perfect. All of this… I could never have dreamed such a—”
Edan swallowed my words with a demanding kiss that made my heart soar straight to the heavens above. Oh, goddess. What had I ever done to deserve this man? He walked us backward toward the bed—after kicking the door closed—and just as the back of my knees touched the mattress, he gently laid me down and stood.
Towering over me, all I could do was stare at the gorgeousness before me. Watching him watch me. The love in his eyes was apparent, and my heart swelled with emotion.
“You are mine, Tatiana. Now and forever.”
I blinked to make sure I wasn’t dreaming, and then exhaled. “I am yours. Always.”
Edan knelt on the bed and hovered over my body. “Is this all right?”
I nodded and swallowed hard. “Yes.”
His lips moved against mine, warm and inviting. He slowly stroked my face, down my neck to my décolletage, grazing over my sensitive breasts. Pleasure teased me; anticipation grew.
He ran his hands down the length of me, stopping at my hips and pushing up the skirt of my dress. “May I?”
I was such a goner. All I could do was nod.
“I wish to explore your secrets,” he whispered, and gooseflesh rose along my exposed skin.
My breathing became more rapid. I wanted him. All of him. But, I had absolutely no idea what I was doing. I thought it best to just go with it.
When he touched my inner thigh, I gasped. An onslaught of sensations rolled through me at once. “Edan, I…” His warmth spread, and his lips followed where his fingers once were.
“Yes, Tatiana?” He kissed my thigh and moved to the apex of my center, only thin fabric separating his tantalizing mouth from my aching desire.
It seemed as though all coherent thought had fled my brain. I could only feel… and oh, my goddess, did I feel!
Edan’s hot breath skated across my center, his hand pressing along my most sensitive area. “Edan, oh…”
He moved my panties to the side, teasing me with small circles, creating wave upon wave of inexplicable pleasure. I had neither coherent thought nor a desire for this to end. “Ohh, magic beans.” I nearly cried out.
He chuckled. “Do you like that?”
“Uh-huh.” I curled my hands into the thick comforter, hanging on for dear life.
And then, I felt his hot tongue… I. Was. Dead. Flick me with a feather—Dead.
I thought his fingers were talented—boy, was I wrong. They compared nothing to that of his magical tongue that sought only my “oohs” and “ahhs.” With gentle prodding, he discovered the secret I didn’t know I had, and the heat in my belly built even further. I didn’t know what I wanted, but it surely was not for him to stop. I shifted my hips with the rhythm of his movements, wanting all that his tongue offered.
Then, as if that weren’t enough, he combined both talents: his fingers sliding in and out of me, while his tongue continued making hot and heavy circles. My toes curled and stretched, reaching higher and higher with each peak.
Every part of me sought to explode into tiny pieces.
