Epilogue

Watchingher walking down the aisle should have been a beautiful moment for me. I should be dressed in a gown, sitting up front, and crying into a handmade handkerchief.

Instead of enjoying this beautiful day with my daughter, I’m hiding behind the stables at the Benton’s farm using binoculars to be able to watch the ceremony.

The happy couple are under the impression that I have quietly faded into the background. I’ve only done that because of the restraining order my brat of a child took out on me. Well, tomorrow is the last day for that sad little piece of paper. Ginger must feel like it’s all over since she refused to renew the restraining order.

Axe and Ginger will find out soon how much of a mistake underestimating me was. My goals are set. My plans are laid out. They have yet to see the last of me.
