He stopped and pressed his forehead to mine.

“Are you alright?” I panted.

“Yeah, I just want to feel you around me for a minute.”

I leaned my chin up and he pressed his mouth to mine, softly, but firmly. His fingers brushed my face before gliding behind my head and grasping a handful of hair. My chest tingled and my breath caught as he slowly kissed me, deep inside me but still.

I squeezed my legs around him and he began thrusting rhythmically. My hands dug into his back, the pressure building with each pump of his hips.

“CJ, I’m so close, you feel so good.”

“Johnny, I—”

I couldn’t finish the thought before the waves of pleasure took over and my channel contracted around him, over and over as my eyelids filled with stars.

“Damn, I feel you coming, CJ.” He pumped once more then grunted as he took three more hard thrusts inside me before collapsing over me.

I squeezed my arms and legs around him tightly when he tried to roll off me. “No, don’t move.”

“I don’t want to hurt you, CJ.”

“You’re not. Just don’t move.”

We lay there several minutes until our breathing was normal again as he planted tiny kisses over my neck, my chest, then my lips.

“I need to take care of something, but I’ll be right back.”

I let him go and pointed to the bathroom, enjoying the view as he walked away.

He came back with a wet washcloth and cleaned me up gently before climbing next to me. “That was amazing.”

I turned and looked into his face. “It was. I’m so glad you’re here.”

“Oh, I see. You just want me for my body.”

I smacked his arm, but he grabbed my wrist, then pulled it to his lips. “That’s alright. Whatever I can do to win you over.”

I giggled then dug my face into his hard chest. We lay there and he gently rubbed my back, making me doze off.

I woke to him trying to pull his arm from under me. “Hey, sorry. I was going to go see what I could whip up for dinner.”

“You don’t have to do that.”

He climbed off the bed and pulled his underwear and jeans back on then pulled the white t-shirt over his head. “Oh, but I do. I need you to know that this is what you’ll always get with me.”

He kissed my forehead then walked to the kitchen.

I lay there and watch from the door for a while before I got up and put my clothes back on and joined him in the kitchen.

“Hey woman, your phone’s been buzzing.” He was pulling things from the fridge and looking through cabinets.

Rolling my eyes, I scrolled through my phone. My boss had called several times and left two voicemails, all after five. He also sent two text messages to call him as soon as possible.

“What’s wrong?” Johnny asked as he placed chicken cutlets into a hot pan then turned to chop vegetables.

“I need to call my boss. He blew up my phone.”

I sat at the desk, blew out an annoyed sigh, and called.
