Page 270 of One More Kiss

Colton lifts his head, meeting my eyes. “The one Allie sent. You were kissing me on TV.”

That bitch! I scramble out from under him until my back presses into the headboard. My shirt is stuck under my bra and my pants are unbuttoned. I have no idea when or how that happened. Damn, he’s good.

Colton sits back on his heels staring at me, his brows drawn in confusion. “What’s wrong?”

“I’m embarrassed, that’s what’s wrong. She should never have shared that.” I drag my hands through my hair in frustration. I’m going to kick her ass the next time I see her. I told her to leave it alone.

The bed shifts as Colton crawls toward me. My pulse quickens at the sight of him approaching like a predator stalking its prey. “I thought you were sexy as hell in my sweatshirt and hearing you say you loved me had me drop everything and book the next flight to New York. I was cursing her for not telling me sooner. It would have saved us both years of heartache.”

He’s right. I’ll owe Allie for the rest of my life. The crazy bitch was right about Colton reciprocating my feelings. And now I’ll have to deal with her gloating ass.

But first, I need to show Colton just how much I want him. I make fast work of stripping off my clothes. Colton doesn’t waste any time shedding his, and when I finally see what he’s been hiding, I mumble, “Dammit, Allie.” She was right again. Only this time, I’m keeping it to myself.

“What was that?” Colton wraps his arm around my waist, dragging me beneath him. He settles between my thighs, and I lock my legs around him.

“Nothing.” I grip the back of his neck and tug him down to me. Everything’s perfect.
