I pressed my hands to his chest and shoved. “I said no.”

Blaze grabbed my wrists and pinned them to the wall on either side of my head. “Let me go,” I warned.

“Or what?” His mouth curled up in a sneer. “You think you're better than me?”

I lifted my knee, aiming for his groin, but he shifted out of the way at the last second. Pressing his weight into me, he worked his knee between my legs so I was completely at his mercy.

“Let me go or I swear to God I'll scream.”

“Why you always gotta be so difficult?”

“Let me go!” I bellowed.

He released one wrist and slapped a hand over my mouth. “Shut the fuck up! You trying to send my ass back to jail?”

That would probably be the best place for him. His fingers pressed into my cheek, and I knew I didn't have a choice. I smacked at his face, using my thumbs to poke at his eyes, and his hand fell away. As soon as I was free, I screamed long and loud.
