I feelthe music pulsing even in the restroom. It spears into me, scattering into every fiber of my being. I sway, my feet simulating the rhythm.

“Are you done?” Calder huffs. I can feel his irritation spreading for miles.

“I can’t help it if my penis wants to water the toilet this long.”

“What the hell are you talking about?”

“My penis wants to water the toilet!” I shout, making a few of the strangers inside the restroom snicker. I flush the toilet once I’m done. “And now the toilet is drinking my pee. It’s gulping it. Like woooooshhhh.” I give the sound effect, so he believes me.

“Oh, my god, you are drunk,” Calder cries.

“No.” I shake my head and walk toward the sink. “Buzzed. I’m buzzed. I’ll just wash my hands, and then my face with some cold water and I should be all fine.”

“Oh, thank god,” he exhales his breath. “Hurry the fuck up!”

I wash my hands and face, then dry both with a tissue.

“Okay, I’m all ready.”

“Let’s go.” he snatches my hand roughly and hauls me out of the restroom. “We don’t want someone else to snatch him and take him home.”

“I don’t think he will go home with just anyone,” I assure him. However, I’m not sure about it.

What if he already has a man?

What if he’s come here with his boyfriend?

The thought makes my stomach churn.

He’s not mine. I don’t know him;I remind myself.

“That’s good to know. Let’s make sure no one takes him away from you. He’s your sugar daddy.”

I don’t correct him. Once he’s got something in his head, it’s a done deal. And according to Calder, 10mm silver fox is mine.

Let’s see if it’s true or not.

Just as we reach him, he gets up and our gaze meets.

Shock pulses through me at the charged air around us.

His eyes caress my heated skin. I can feel it deep in my bones.

Tingling.

Tickling me to awareness.

“Oh, you are back.”

“I told you I would be,” I whisper, giving him a shy smile.

“Good.” He edges his body away from me. “I was just telling this gentleman…” he points at a man seated in the opposite seat, “…that I’m waiting for my boyfriend.”

All the words vanish from my mouth, the air from my lungs, and I feel lightheaded.

He’s calling me his boyfriend. His boyfriend!
