I take a step back, my high gone, and fall into Draven’s arm. Theron and Julius are on either side of me, the human’s eyes darting between us.

“Yeah, I don’t need any trouble.”

He spins on his heel and makes his way out of the club, his hindbrain telling him he needs to run away from the predator.

Draven doesn’t let me go, but pushes himself further into me, running his hands up and down my side. I sigh at his touch. As much as I don’t want it, an existential part of me knows I can’t resist. I need to mate with these three. The human was almost dead in a room full of witnesses.

I find Megan dancing with a guy, and she looks happy. Giving her a small wave, I grab Draven’s hand before it goes any further up my body. Theron’s eyes are full-blown vamp right now and I know he can feel my need.

“Feed me,” I say, low enough for only us to hear over the music.

Julius clasps my hand in his and they’re leading through a door on the side of the bar. It’s a corridor with rooms on either side. Maybe offices?

We reach the last one and Julius opens it up. It’s a large room with a bed, couch, and a bunch of toys in the corner. The walls are red satin and they carpeted the floor with a plush shag.

“A fucking sex dungeon? Really guys? This is so stereotypical.”

I laugh, going over to the toys and run my hands over the floggers and paddles. I’ve used nothing like this before. My breath catches as Theron picks up my hair from my neck, tilting my head to the side.

“It’s a pleasure room. We keep here no one against their will. It’s also a place where we feed, or used to.”

“Used to?”

“We haven’t taken a human since you’ve cured us. There’s no other female we want. Just you Odessa.”

He leaves a kiss on my sweaty neck and it does all kinds of delicious things to my insides.

“It didn’t feel right once we found you,” Julius offers, taking a seat on the couch. “You’re it for us, Dessa.”

The thought of forever with these three scared the shit out of me. I can’t forget what they did to me. They made me this way, but taking away this constant need will help me think clearer. Maybe then I can make this looming decision in front of me.

“What happens now?” I ask, turning to watch all of them.

“We fuck,” Draven says.
