I swallow, trying my hardest not to move. But they can’t tell that I’m here. Only Thorne can see me because he summoned my subconscious here. My body is back in the fae world,so how can Draco smell me? Were vampires able to sense that good?

“She’s here right now, isn’t she?” He lifts his nose in the air, inhaling deeply. “Yep. Smells like that sweet cum of hers.”

Thorne growls before attempting to tackle his brother. Quickly, Draco’s men grab him and pull him away from Draco.

Draco laughs, pushing his dark hair back from his face. “So, you know where Asura is, right?”

Thorne’s jaw clenches.

Draco cocks a brow before throwing a punch right into Thorne’s nose. It cracks under pressure, sending him down to the ground.

“Thorne!” I shout.

The vampires surrounding him don’t seem to notice me. “Tell us where she is,” Draco says with a grin. “Or I will bleed you dry for your answer.”

My throat is dry, and every part of me wants to help him, but I can’t. I am useless in this invisible state.

“No?” Draco snaps.

“Tell him something!” I snap. “He’s going to hurt you.”

Thorne lifts his head, blood running down his chin. “Fuck you.”

Draco smirks, leaning down. “Heard you were shadow bonded with the bitch.”

Thorne’s dark eyes widen. “No.” He struggles to move away while Draco gets closer. My brows pull together in confusion.

Then Draco reveals his fangs and sticks them in his brother’s neck.

“Stop!” I shout, sitting to my knees.I have to do something.Vampires aren’t supposed to be tasting each other’s blood. That could result in a harmful chemical reaction, as Thorne once put it.

Draco’s eyes turn black instead of the blood-red they were. They look right at me, or it feels like they are looking right at me. “Asura,” he pulls back and whispers.

“Leave her alone,” Thorne says weakly.

Draco stands, making me widen my eyes. He is looking at me. He does see me. “I…” He inhales deeply. “Know where you are now… Tell the fae I’m coming.” He lets out an evil laugh.

“No!” I scream, sitting up quickly, but the shock of seeing that wakes me. I’m back in my room, next to Hazen.

“What’s wrong?” Hazen whispers in a tired voice. “Are you okay, baby?”

I shake my head, scrambling out of bed and out of the room. I run through the castle, bare feet slapping against the tile floor. My first thought is to find Ryker and his father.

Guards stand outside the dining hall, and when I rush to them, they try to stop me. My rage sends a burst of magic through the air, causing them to fly away from me.

Pushing open the doors, I see Ryker standing amongst a few other fae. They all turn to me. Ryker moves to me. “Asu—”

“The Blood Clan knows where we are.”

“How?” Ryker’s father asks, standing.

My eyes tear up. “They have Thorne.”

“Who is Thorne?” Ryker pushes my hair from my face and cups my cheek. “Slow down.”

“Thorne is someone imaginary, I thought,” Ledger adds from behind me somewhere. Hazen must have gotten him.

I shake my head. “Draco’s brother from the waffle house is Thorne.”
