I smirk at her and drop a swift kiss on her mouth. "I'll get you the morning after pill, babygirl, if you want. My wolf won't like it, but he'll get over it."

"I just lost my virginity," she says faintly, her cheeks a little pale.

I eye her worriedly. "Does it hurt? I can run you a nice, warm bath, babygirl."

"We were supposed to talk and then I was going to sneak back home. Dad is going to kill me."

"Nah," I shrug and adjust her in my arms. We're slippery and I don't want to lose my grip now. My wolf, the bastard, is strutting around in my head. "He'll be furious withme."

"I have to go home, Conner," she says gently. She squirms until I relent and put her down. "Besides, I took my painkillers. I won't know until tomorrow if I hurt." She laughs a little.

I bite back the whimper, but I point out quietly, "I'm going to take care of you."

"Sweetheart," she says softly, "I don't want my dad to worry. We'll see each other tomorrow, right?"

I relent. "Alright, but no more space," I demand. "This is it, Bailey. I may have resisted Marking you tonight, but from now on no more questions in that brilliant brain of yours about this."

"I think I went beyond that when you screwed me standing up," she laughs at me.

I grin. "I was hoping to get another in tonight."

Bailey blushes. "Nope. One and done. Slam, bam, thank you, sir."

I smack her bottom. "Not nice," I scold. Reluctantly I turn and we start walking back to the house, hand-in-hand.

"Thank you very much, sir," she says promptly, giggling.

I have to stop. Bringing her closer, I kiss her soft, swollen lips. "I love you," I murmur to her.

"I love you, too," she says softly. This time, it sounds beautifully genuine.

"No more research about your magic titties without me, yeah?"

She looks both guilty and angry. "Magicvoice, Conner Bartholomew Grim."

"That's your opinion, baby. Separate it from scientific fact, please."

We arrive back at her house still teasing each other. I examine the house critically, searching for signs of her father being alert to his missing daughter. It's all silent and normal.

"You want me to walk you inside?" I ask worriedly. I grab my t-shirt from my stack of clothes and pull it over her head so she's covered.

Smiling, Bailey goes up on her tiptoes and kisses me. "I'll be fine, Conner. I'm just going to wash up and sleep."

"I love you," I tell her again.

She smiles. "I love you too." Her fingers slip out of mine and she disappears into the house, stopping to scoop up the cabbage on the doorstep, first. I wait another ten minutes for the lights in her room to shut off, before I turn and walk back home.

My wolf sits, head bowed, looking dejected. I feel just about the same way without her right next to us.

Shit. Morning after pills are fucking expensive. Not that it matters to me, but what if Bailey had come here herself for this? She has to shell out forty bucks for this shit? I should make sure our clinic at ClearHowl sells this for a discount. Especially since more humans may be moving into our satellite towns soon.

I grab the most expensive brand in its fancy blue box, sneering a little at the cheaper version. Only the best for my babygirl. I flip it over, reading the side effects and frowning at some of them.
