Waking up in Cory’s arms gives me the greatest gratification. When I open my eyes, he’s staring down at me with so much emotion written over his face.
We went rounds one, two and three last night and by the feel of what’s touching my thigh he’s ready for round four.
“Morning sweet thing. How’d you sleep?”
“Very well thanks to you,” winking at him and sending what I hope is my most seductive smile his way I add, “Cory, about what you said last night...” I’m cut off in an instant, flipped on my back with him hovering above me, searching my eyes.
“Iris, I meant every word, but I understand if you don’t…” I decide to give him a taste of his own medicine and cut him off, but instead of words, I kiss him. I kiss him with every ounce of want and need I have.
Pulling away with a pop of our lips parting, I look up at his stunned expression and smile shyly. “I love you, too.”
Cory gives me the biggest smile I’ve ever seen. “I love you, Angel, so damn much.”
And just like before, we forget about the day and spend it exploring one another. Leaving the world and all our worries behind us.
