That was the first time Travis Bennett broke my heart, but somehow, I knew it wouldn’t be the last.

“Yo, Dom!” Romeo yells from behind the bar.

I lift my eyes from Jazmine’s ass that’s currently in front of me. “What?”

“Where’s the liquor?” He ducks under the bar and raises back up. “I swear we had two more bottles.”

I roll my eyes and slide around her as I stand from the couch in the main room of the clubhouse. I have a good idea where it went.

“Give me a sec.” I walk into the kitchen where Widow, Preach, Stone, and Boston are in a heated game of poker.

“Takin that money Preach?” I ask.

He chuckles and blows a cloud of smoke in the air.

I’ve been here almost ten years now. This place has become my home and these people have become my family. I honestly never expected this. To be welcomed with open arms and to be treated like I’m their own blood. I couldn’t have found a better place to land at such a rough time in my life and I owe it all to the LeBlanc’s. They saved my sorry ass. I’m still not sure why.

I push through the back door and make my way to the group of teenagers out by the bonfire. My money is on a little brunette that likes to break the rules and test my patience. I’m surveying the group, looking for that familiar dark head of hair.

Found it.

Before I step forward, she turns, meeting my gaze. Almost like she knew I was there.

“Daniella,” I called in a low tone, but loud enough she heard me.

She sets down her cup and weaves through her friends.

“What now?” She folds her arms and lifts a brow.

“Where’s the liquor?”

“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” she counters.

“Really.” I take a step. “Let me smell your breath.”

She scrunches up her face and covers her mouth. “No.”

“Now.”

“Don’t you have something better to do than bother us? We aren’t hurting anything.”

“You’re fucking sixteen Daniella,” I growl.

She rolls her brown eyes and turns to storm off.

“I’m serious. Where is it?” I demand as I catch her arm.

She jerks away.

“Don’t make me get Maverick,” I threaten.
