“They’ve been hit…kicked…and I’m not sure what else.”

My hands move to the top of my head as I spin around to give them my back. I’m going to kill all of them.

“How do we know this isn’t a set up?” Maverick questions.

He holds up his hands. “The reason I came was because this is not why I joined the club. I don’t hurt women and I don’t agree with it. I could be killed for this.” He shakes his head. “I have a sister, man. I heard one of them tell the girls that Viper gave them the green light to…. you know…violate them.” His face cringes when he says the words.

“They aren’t getting the fucking chance,” I snap. “Where are they?”

“They are being kept in an old trailer about forty miles away. Viper killed the old man who lived there after he took them.”

“Let’s go,” Maverick says heading for the door.

The kid hesitates. “I'll take you, but I need your protection in return. I’m pretty much asking for a death sentence by giving you this information.”

“You got it. Take us now.” I demand.

This kid better be legit.

Chapter 18

Travis

“Dom, Mav. Look, I know you guys are ready to go in guns blazing, but we need a plan. We can’t be reckless.” Widow steps his large frame in the doorway, blocking our path.

Maverick scoffs because he knows he’s right and I take a step back because I know he is too.

“Listen to him, boys. We all love those girls, but you two need clear minds. Your judgment can be clouded and cause impulsive decisions. We can’t risk it.” Preach adds in from the barstool he’s planted on.

I run a hand through my hair and take a seat on the couch. “Then let’s plan,” I say with a wave of my hand.

Maverick nods and our eyes move to Boston. He spins to face his screens and they all come to life with the click of a button.

“Alright kid. I need the location,” he says as his fingers fly over the keyboard.

“I don’t know the address, but if you can pull up the aerial, I can show you.” The boy responds with a shaky voice.

“What’s your name by the way?” Boston asks.

“My name is Rico, but they just call me prospect,” he shrugs.

Boston gets the aerials of Paradise up on the screen and we all hover around the table.

Rico leans down, eyes squinting as he directs Boston to move the cursor closer to the location.

“There,” he says as he points to the left of the screen. “See that dirt drive?”

It’s a long drive that leads to a cluster of trees. You can barely see the roof of a run-down trailer.

“They are in that trailer. Five guards at all times. They switch every two days. I will go back tonight.” His eyes bounce between me and Maverick.

“So, it sounds like the best time would be right after the switch. If we go when you’re on duty that’s one less serpent we have to fuck with,” I say as I pull a cigarette from my pocket.

“They’ll hear the bikes. That drive is long as shit,” Romeo chimes in.

“Agreed.” Maverick scrubs his hand across his jaw. “We can bring the van and Tank’s pickup. Park at the edge of the trees. Keep them hidden. We need a way to come in from the side or back.”

“We can come in through this side field. We can just cut the fence off at the main road and cut across. Put us out right next to the tree-line on the back side.” Boston uses his finger to trace our line of entry on the screen.
