I patted his chest. “Now, why would we do that? The fun has just begun.”

His cries came out harder when he saw the meat hook hanging in the middle of the room. I grabbed his head and directed his gaze to it so he couldn’t look away. He shook his head. My grip on his chin tightened to the point of pain.

How nice would it be if he bore my handprint on his skin when he died?

My smile widened at the thought.

“Look at it,” I said. “Look at your present. Don’t you see how nice we are? Why don’t you thank us for it.”

His tears touched the back of my hand.

Mikhail touched the hook with one finger. “Go on. Say thank you.”

“T-Thank you f-for the p-present.”

I met Mikhail’s eyes and smiled.

Mikhail grabbed onto Luca, and together, we lifted him up on the hook. He screamed when the sharp metal pierced his flesh between his shoulder blades.

Blood seeped out from his shirt.

I took in the sight, feeling a spike of adrenaline from what I was about to do.

Luca cried when he met my eyes.

I was sure they expressed the sadistic cravings I was feeling.

Then we got to work.

Twenty minutes later,we came out through the swinging doors, the front of our shirt covered in blood and a fucking location in hand.

An abandoned barn on the outskirts of the city, two hours away.

“We move tonight?” I asked.

Mikhail nodded. “Tonight. Let’s get everything ready. We know at least twenty Blood Nation Sinners are on the premises with Leo, but we don’t know if they have any other men with them.”

I scoffed. “Who would be fucking stupid enough to join them and go against the Bratva? I have every man in this city looking for them, wanting a piece of the prize money.”

“If they don’t have any other men, this should be easy.”

I shook my head. “They pulled one over on us with men that barely have any experience.”

“No. They pulled one over on us with Leo on their side.”

I cracked my knuckles. “It’s going to feel so good to see the light die from his eyes.”

He patted my shoulder. “Yes. But first, get changed. We’re going back home to see Catalina before we leave. She’ll be relieved to know we got the location.”

I looked down at the front of my shirt. “And call the Doctor. I don’t want the bastard to bleed out and die before we can confirm that the location he gave us really is where they’re keeping Damien.”

Mikhail nodded. “Good idea.”

Luca would not make it out of this hellhole. He was currently unconscious after losing blood from when I cut off eight of his toes.

But he wasn’t going to fucking die.
