My walls spasm around his cock.

My arms fall on the bed, no longer able to hold me up.

My eyes roll back in my head as noises I’ve never heard before come out of me and ricochet around the room.

“Fuck, Vivian,” he cries out as his girth swells inside me, pushing me to a place I’ve never hit before. I soak him in my juices, trembling against him as he falls against my back.

We don’t move, breathing hard, sweaty, full of our fluids. A few minutes pass then his lips graze my shoulders, and he unlatches my bra. Bringing his lips to my ear, he murmurs, “You’re the sexiest woman on earth.” He kisses my spine while massaging my ass cheeks then pulls out of me and stands up.

I roll over on the bed and watch him toss the condom in the waste bin. Grabbing a towel out of the bathroom, he wipes me up, then himself, and hops in bed next to me.

I snuggle into his arms. He kisses me on the forehead and caresses my back.

“I’m sorry about my father,” I tell him again.

He scoots down, so he’s face-to-face with me. “Don’t apologize for your father. He loves you and hasn’t done anything wrong.”

“He has you all wrong,” I blurt out.

He sighs. “What did he say?”

Crap. I shouldn’t have said that.

I don’t say anything.

“Vivian? Tell me.”

I close my eyes. When I open them, Chase is staring, so I reply. “He said you sound like a womanizer and that he wants me with an honest man. That I deserve honesty, not lies.”

Chase sucks in a breath.

“I told him you aren’t a womanizer and that you are not a liar and have always been honest with me,” I tell him quickly.

“He’s right,” Chase mumbles.

“No, he isn’t.”

“I’m not a liar, but I think I would fit the womanizer category from my previous behavior.”

I sigh. “Yes, but those women all knew what you were willing to give and not give them. You didn’t cheat and mislead them.”

“Apparently, I did mislead them, or Meredith wouldn’t be acting this crazy.”

I cup his face in my hands. “Meredith is unstable. Something is not right with her. I felt it when I first met her at your house, but I just assumed it was jealousy on my part. You can’t blame yourself for her crazy.”

He stares into my eyes. “I don’t want you fighting with your parents over me.”

I sigh. “My father is protective of me. I’m not going to let him think something about you that isn’t true.”

“Vivian, I will talk to your father. I don’t want you to strain your relationship with them,” Chase says sternly.

“Let’s not talk about my parents anymore.”

“Vivian—”

I put my thumb over his lips. “Shh.”

He looks worried.
