Vivian and I exchange a look.So he’s still not over Billie. Poor Charlotte.

“What are you guys doing here? I thought Noah’s driver was picking us up?” Vivian asks.

Chase has one of his cocky looks on his face. “Charlotte is wiped out from her therapy and took a pain pill. She’s down for the count. Bennett flew in and needed to talk with Piper and Noah over dinner, so I told Noah we would get you and bring you to their place tomorrow.”

I look at Jamison and smile.

“You look gorgeous. I missed you,” he murmurs in my ear.

“I missed you.” I kiss him.

“Okay, lovebirds. Let’s get out of here. Ladies, you hungry?” Chase asks.

“I’m starving,” Vivian says.

I nod. “I could eat.”

Jamison grabs my bag.

“Great. Let’s go have some fun, then.” Chase grabs Vivian’s bag.

We pile in Chase’s car, and it’s déjå vu of the previous trip to New York. Vivian and Chase, although Vivian swears nothing has happened between them, and Jamison and me.

I’m cuddled up on Jamison’s chest, and everything feels perfect. I inhale his clean, woody scent. He kisses the top of my head and winks.

We pull up to a restaurant not far from Chase’s place. There is a line out the door, but the guys steer us directly to the front, and we get right in.

“Well, aren’t you two important around here,” I tease them.

“Real VIPs,” Vivian digs further.

Chase leans down and whispers something in Vivian’s ear, and she slaps him on the biceps. Jamison just smiles.

“You’re awfully quiet tonight,” I say to him.

“It’s been a long week.”

I put my hand on the side of his head. “Everything okay?”

“Perfect. You’re here.” He gives me a quick peck.

The hostess takes us to a booth near the back.

“Thanks for having us stay again, Chase,” I say.

“You’re not staying at my place. Unless you want to.”

“I’m not?”

“My place is finished. The movers moved my stuff back in today,” Jamison says. “Assuming you’re coming with me?”

I laugh. “I better be.”

“So... I’m staying at Jamison’s?” Vivian asks.

“No. You’re staying at my place. Unless you aren’t comfortable doing that?” Chase raises an eyebrow.

She hesitates for a moment. “That’s fine. Thank you.”
