“No problem. Did you all meet?”

I glance at Harper, who quickly looks away from me and back to Hope.

“Yeah. Where’s Jamison?”

“He went to the bar. Hey, did you see you’re trending on Twitter and Instagram?”

I close my eyes momentarily and groan. “People need to get a life.”

“Apparently the single ladies...well, and a lot of married ones, too, want to know more about you. I think it’s time you opened up those social media accounts and lived a little. Nothing exciting happens on LinkedIn.”

“The business world of connections happens on LinkedIn.”

Quinn pretends to yawn. “Boring.”

And there’s the adjective I can’t escape.

“I don’t have time for gossip and fluff. I’m going to say hi to the guys. Excuse me.” I don’t wait for her to respond and practically run to the bar.

Chase hands me a beer. “Just in time.”

“Thanks.”

I pat Jamison on the back. “Congratulations on your big day.”

He grins. “Thanks. Long time coming.”

“I think we’re the ones supposed to be congratulating you,” Noah chimes in.

“God. Not you guys, too.”

“It’s a big deal,” he says.

“When you were on the list, did your exes go on a national gossip show and discuss your sex life?” I blurt out.

They all gape at me.

“What did they say?” Noah asks.

“Nothing I want to relive. Oh, forgot to mention my entire staff was watching it with me in the office.”

“Shit,” Xander mumbles.

“Yeah.”

Chase puts his hand up and orders five shots.

“Did they say you were good or bad in bed?” Noah asks.

Jamison elbows him.

“What? This could be a good thing.”

I cave. “I believe emotionally unavailable and worth the wait were the two phrases that stood out.”

“You’re going to get laid left and right now,” Chase says and hands me a shot.

“Totally. The chicks are going to go crazy,” Noah says.
