"That's what Anna pointed out."

"If done right, I think you can get substantially more."

"How much more?"

She thinks for a moment. "Off the top of my head, ten to thirty percent."

"Thirty percent?"

She puts her hand in the air. "Don't get excited. That's the top end. But I would be surprised if you only get ten."

Don't get too excited. It's only one real estate agent's opinion. I need to talk to several.

"Okay. I've got another issue I need to pick your brain on."

"What's that?"

Chase sits next to Vivian with a cup of coffee.

"Are you aware we bought up the Five Fifty-two block?"

"Sure."

I tap my fingers on the table. "We've got an issue."

She raises her eyebrows.

"There's one lot we don't have. The mayor agreed to sell it to us. At the last minute, he gave it to Lorenzo Rossi for nothing. We agreed on a verbal price with Lorenzo, but he's been screwing us around and now wants so much it would make the project not worth it."

"The mob boss's, son?" Chase asks.

"Yeah. He claims he's 'legit.'" I put my fingers in quotes.

"I'm sure he is," Chase sarcastically says.

I rub my hands on my face. The day has just begun, and I already feel exhausted from it. "I need a plan B. My brothers and I are going to lose millions if we can't get that lot, and we arrogantly bought the rest without any other ideas."

Vivian's eyes widen, which only makes my stomach drop more. She might understand property and developments better than my brothers and me.

Chase leans forward. "Whatever you do, don't get my sister involved with that man."

"Involved with who?" Anna's voice cuts in.

My blood pounds harder just from the sound of her voice. I glance toward her, and it only heats my veins further.

The woman can wear anything and make my adrenaline spin. Her navy pencil skirt and form-fitting, thin, cream sweater aren't holding my desire for her down. She glances nervously at me with her big, blue eyes, and I wink at her, forgetting her brother is in the room but not wanting her to feel strange around me after how we left things last night.

She blushes and addresses Chase, who seems oblivious about my attraction toward her, too focused on my negotiations with Lorenzo.

"Answer me," Anna says.

It's the first time I've heard her be assertive. I like it, and my dick twitches.

"Nothing you need to worry about," he says.

She puts her hand on her hip, pulling the material of her shirt tighter against her waist and breasts. I almost groan out loud. She's got the perfect little body, and it's driving me crazy.

She glares at Chase. "I'm not a child."
