"Shh. I won't tell anyone," I tease.

She rises off the floor and straddles me. Her blue eyes drill into mine. "Thank you."

"You're saving our asses, remember?"

She strokes the side of my head. "Can we go somewhere besides Chase and Vivian's?"

Maybe it's better if she isn't anywhere in the vicinity when I speak with her brother.

"Sure. Is there another place you want to go?"

"Where would you be if you weren't here with me?"

"It depends. Possibly on a job site."

"Okay. What would you be doing tonight?"

I glance at my phone to remember what day it is. "Thursday nights, I watch Boris fight."

"Fight?"

"Yes. We own a boxing ring."

Her eyes light up. "And people can watch?"

"Sure. But it's typically the fighters' close friends or family."

"Great. Let's go!"

"You want to go watch a fight?"

"Yes. Why wouldn't I?"

"Do you normally watch boxing?"

She shrugs. "When the big fights are on television."

"It's ahole in the wallgym. There isn't anything fancy about it."

She rises. "Awesome. I can wear jeans, then?"

"I don't know. Are you going to wear the pair you wore the other day?"

"No. I need to wash them, so I left them at Chase's. Why?"

I stand and squeeze her ass. "Because your ass was hot as hell in them."

She smirks. "I guess it's your lucky day, then. I have a second pair and brought them with me."

I groan. "You're killing me, kotik."

"How much time do I have to get ready?"

"Plenty. It starts at seven."

She bites on her lip, and her eyes travel down my body. "I have to shower."

"Is that an invitation?"
