“To the bathroom. Is that okay with you?”
I chuckle softly, my eyes opening to meet her narrowed ones.
“Or would you like to come supervise?” she teases, rolling her eyes as she walks away.
“You better watch that mouth of yours, or I’ll put it to good use,” I threatened.
Addison winks before eyeing my hardening cock. “Promise?”
I groan, falling back onto the bed as I listen to her laugh disappear while she walks away. My eyes take in every detail of the ceiling, from the popcorn stubble to the faint paint streaks you can see if you look close enough and after a while, I’m about to go find Addison to make sure she’s okay when my phone rings.
“Hello?” I answer, smiling as Addison walks back into the room blissfully naked and looking edible.
“Max?” My brother’s voice filters through my ear as I sit up, noticing that his tone is off and my chest tightens at the thought of what he’s calling for. “What’s wrong?”
Addison’s eyes snap to mine as she sits next to me.
“Nothing’s wrong, but I ran into Luke’s parents today and they said something really weird.”
“When don’t they say something weird? They’re assholes, Mark, you know that. Luke told us not to take what they say to heart.”
I remember when Luke brought up what his parents do to him on a regular basis and so I don’t blame him for shutting them out or trying to at least.
“Even when they say that Luke’s getting married?”
If I had anything in my mouth, I would have choked on it. “Excuse me, what? Did you just say that Luke’s getting married?”
Addison’s eyes widen and the shocked look on her face must mirror mine, because that makes no fucking sense. Luke hasn’t had a girlfriend in years, let alone a fiancée.
What the fuck is happening?
“Yeah, apparently they just announced it?”
News to me.
“He didn’t say anything to you, right?”
“Not a fucking word. I wonder if he’s just fucking with his parents.”
That thought flicked through my mind too, but that seems unlikely.
“I don’t know. You gonna talk to him?”
Mark makes a noise of agreement before hanging up and I set my phone back down on the bed.
“Did I hear you right? Luke’s getting married?” Addison’s voice is laced with disbelief, and I don’t blame her. “How is that even possible? The other day he was adamant that he would stay single forever.”
I nod because I remember, but there’s a piece of this that we’re missing and I just can’t figure it out.
“I’m guessing Mark will get everything out of him eventually. But until then,” I say, my voice lowering as I lean in and take her lips in a kiss I want to deepen but Addison pulls away.
“Hold your horses, Casanova. Before we do anything, I have something for you.”
I quirk an eyebrow, wondering what it could be, because seeing her in my clothes and fucking her against the wall was more than enough for me. But she just smiles, pulling my shirt back down to cover her ass as I pull up my pants, and follow as she leads me into the kitchen where I see papers sitting on the kitchen table.
“Please tell me you did not get me homework as a gift. That’s just mean,” I tease, smirking as she hands me the thick file of papers. “What’s this?” I ask, seeing the apprehension on her face.
“Just read it.”
