I look good. My jeans are tight but comfortable. My long-sleeved T-shirt has a deep V neck that shows off my breasts. AJ will love the outfit. I’m a fan of any clothes that are comfortable and sexy at the same time.

My mind flashes back to the way he reacted to the black dress. I’m tempted to wear it every time I see him. I would put it on today, but I’d look insane if I showed up in a formal dress for an informal hangout.

Grabbing my coat and purse, I head out the door. It’s time to get going, or I’ll be late. That would be embarrassing since technically, I’m the co-host of this event.

I arrive at AJ’s house an hour before my friends are supposed to arrive. I knock on the door and wait patiently for him to answer.

“Hi!” he says when he opens it. “It’s good to see you.”

He bends down and kisses me. I wrap my arms around his neck and pull him close. AJ responds by placing his hands on my hips. He backs us up so that we enter the hallway. The door slams behind me, and I’m pressed against it.

“I’ve missed you,” I whisper between kisses. “I hate going almost a full week without seeing you.”

“Me, too, baby,” AJ responds.

He kisses my neck, tangling his hands in my hair. I’m glad I didn’t bother doing anything special with it today. His rough fingers would have ruined a fancy hairstyle.

As it is, my friends are going to know immediately what we’ve been up to when they see my hair, but I don’t care. They’ve already heard the details about all the other sexcapades AJ and I have had.

AJ’s attention returns to my lips, parting them with his tongue. I suck it deep into my mouth. He groans, pressing me harder against the wall.

Finally, we pull apart. Our lips are swollen from all the kissing.

“Hi,” I say shyly. “That was quite a welcome.”

“Sorry. I’m glad you’re here before your friends. I wouldn’t have been able to restrain myself, and that’s not the first impression I want to have on them.”

“I don’t mind one bit. I almost wish Daisy and Nicole weren’t coming so we could keep going…”

AJ laughs. “I want to meet your friends. We’ll have plenty of time for that in the future.”

“I’m holding you to that,” I warn playfully.

“Everything is set up already. Want to go sit in the living room for a while?”

I nod. We head to the couch and sit down. Our intentions are pure at first. AJ turns on the TV to some crime show rerun that we start watching. But it doesn’t take long for his hand to travel up my thigh, teasing me. I look over to chastise him, and he captures my lips with his.

AJ leans forward, laying me down on the couch. His kisses are equal parts sweet and intense. He goes from slow and innocent to hard and fast, then back again. I grab onto AJ’s T-shirt to pull him close to me. Not that he can get much closer since he’s already on top of me on the couch.

What I really want is to tug off the shirt and feel the roughness of his skin. I can’t do that, so I settle for shirt-to-shirt contact.

When the doorbell rings, AJ jumps off me like we’re teenagers who have just been caught. I giggle and do my best to readjust my hair and shirt. AJ’s hands had gotten a little carried away, massaging my breast over my bra but under my shirt.

“Do I look okay?”

AJ checks me out. “You look great.”

He kisses me again, but I push him away, giggling.

“We’re about to have guests! No more. Behave yourself.”

AJ frowns, but he heads for the door. We answer it together and find Daisy, Jack, Josh, and Nicole on the other side.

“Hi!” I greet. Daisy and Nicole rush forward to hug me. “I’m so glad you all came.”

“Please, we wouldn’t miss this for the world,” Daisy says. “Now introduce us to the reason we’re here!”

I laugh and move aside so they can come inside. AJ takes their coats as he introduces himself.

“I’m the reason you’re here. AJ. And you must be Daisy.”

Daisy shakes his hand once it’s free of the coats. “You guessed correctly. One point in your favor. And this is my husband, Jack.”

“Nice to meet you, Jack.”

“And I’m Nicole, but we met at the convention.”

“I remember you,” AJ says. “It’s nice to see you again.”

“You, too. This is my boyfriend, Josh.”

With the introductions finished, AJ leads us into the dining room.

“I’m not much of a chef, so I figured we could order a pizza. Is that okay with everyone?”

Daisy moans. “Yes, please. I haven’t had pizza in months.”

AJ clutches his chest. “How is that possible?”

“A toddler,” Jack says. “She doesn’t like pizza, so we don’t eat it unless we’re somewhere without her.”
