“I’m so sorry, I lost myself there at the end,” he says. I’m not having any of the worry in his tone.
“You said it yourself, I’m not the kind of girl who does gentle. I liked it,” I promised. That seems to be what he needed to hear. He pulls me back in again, ignoring that water sluicing over both of us as he kisses me just as fiercely as before, not caring if he can taste himself on my tongue.
Now that I’ve started, he’s intent to take over. His hands trail over my skin and it’s my turn to gasp. Goosebumps pop up on my skin despite the warm water. The feel of his hands squeezing my breasts and teasing my already sensitive nipples has me wet and not just from the shower.
“You’re beautiful,” he tells me as he drops to his knees this time. I grab onto his shoulder to keep myself steady as he guides one leg over his shoulder, exposing my pussy to him. “I may not be as good as you are,” he jokes. But my response is lost as he licks his tongue over my pussy. He doesn't hesitate to dive in after that, sucking hard on my clit so I’m crying out and digging my nails into his skin. What he lacks in skill he makes up for in enthusiasm, eating me out like he hasn’t had a meal in decades…which is kind of the truth.
He uses my noises the same way I did, repeating anything that has me whimpering or calling his name until he’s set a rhythm that has me babbling incoherently as I grind into his face. My legs shake and the moment he slides two fingers into my core I come, pussy clenching around his digits as he fucks me through it. Somehow, this man has made one orgasm turn into two with a brush of his thumb over my clit and by the time the aftershocks recede, he’s looking smug and I’m barely upright.
“Holy shit, Lucien,” I breathe out, chest heaving.
“I’ve always been a fast learner,” he jokes. But I’m done with teasing. I need him.
“Fuck me, Lucien. I need you,” I plead. He puts his muscles to good use as he scoops me up, hands gripping my ass as I wrap my legs around him. The cool shower tiles send a shiver over me as he presses me into them. I reach between us, guiding him to my entrance before he can second guess himself.
With one grateful look at me, he slams his hips forward. The burn of him stretching me combined with how fucking turned on I am, has me crying out. But Lucien isn’t letting anything hold him back and pulls back only to slam home again. He fucks me with a desperation I didn’t expect. Each slam of his hips sends me higher and it isn’t long before he slides his hand between us, teasing me until I can’t hold back. We come together, whimpering out the other’s name as we ride out the waves of pleasure slamming through us.
The sound of the front door slamming and the guys’ voices ringing out has us both laughing softly as he lets me down.
“I guess you better actually shower now,” I joke as I step out and wrap a towel around myself. “Take your time.”
“No,” he says simply. “I was promised food.”
“Oh, you’ll fit in just fine,” I snort as I go out to change and help the guys. It’s silly how one small sentence can make me feel better about all this, but tonight just proves this was all meant to happen. A few more loose ends to tie up and we can finally have our lives back. A new normal…whatever that might be.

Eli and I make a quick trip to the store. I’m not the cook that Raven is but I can make burgers and spaghetti, so I grab the things that I need to make that. Eli grabs a lot of junk food, like Oreos and chips.
“You trying to suck up to Raven?” I ask as I point at the cookies.
“Dude, she just brought a ghost back to life, if that doesn’t deserve a cookie, then I don’t know what does.”
I chuckle a little at his words, he isn’t wrong.
“You always know the right thing for Raven. How is that?”
“Give it time, you’ll find your groove with her. It’s not been that long since you two got together.”
“Yeah and now there’s Lucien,” I mutter. I’m not mad about it but how will I get any time with just Raven with another guy in the mix?
“Hey now, Raven will give us each the attention that we need. She loves us differently but the same amount. We just need to figure it out together. I would rather share her with you and Lucien than lose her. I know you feel that way, too. Plus, we can’t deny that fate was involved with this.”
“I do, and I know that Raven isn’t the greedy type. So, there has to be a real connection to Wolf if she wants him, too. I think we’ve just had a lot thrown at us all at once and it’s just taking time to process all of this. Once we get rid of Stella, that will ease some of the nerves, too.”
We don’t say much as we check out, but once we’re in the car, Eli starts talking again.
“So, speaking of that psychotic bitch, did you find where she was buried?”
“I found some notes on graves in a little plot by the sanitarium. If she’s not there, I’m all out of guesses. The paper articles I found stated that yes, Stella died in the fire but half of her body was still intact. So, that’s good news for us, hoping that they buried her and not just cremated her. If there’s nobody there, then I don’t know how we will rid ourselves of her.”
“You are just a fucking ray of sunshine, aren’t you?” Eli shakes his head and gives me a playful side eye, but I can see the underlying panic at the thought. I know it well because that thought has plagued me for days.
“That’s why Raven keeps me around,” I joke.
Eli laughs at my words and finally breaks some of the tension between us. It’s nice to feel normal again after everything.
“I don’t think that’s the only reason,” he counters before letting his smile drop. “I know you made a list of supplies we’ll need, if you give it to me when we get back, I can gather it all and you can make the food. We both know if I’m the one cooking, we better have the fire department on speed dial. If I burn the food, it may freak Wolf out and he’ll get a flashback of the night he died. Not what we need before we have to set a fire on purpose.” He’s rambling, another sign of how on edge we all are.
