Hey Sweetheart,
Interesting twist today at the doctor’s office. Our baby is growing like a weed, and she moved up my due date. Apparently, they measure something called ‘fundal height’ and I’m showing February 3rdaccording to my last period – but she’s thinking it’s going to be closer to January 22nd.
Just keeping you in the loop so we can make plans. The moment I hear an update, I will let you know.
The baby is kicking, movin’ and groovin’ in my belly. At night, when I lay down, it’s like watching a fish flop around on the banks. I love watching one whole side stretch upwards as our child moves around.
Everything is wonderful with us.
Love,
Sophie

Sunshine,
Keep me posted on the date when you can. I’m trying to endear myself to Reilly, so the jerk will let me off work when we get close. He’s moody and really makes some days tough.
The photo of your belly is incredible. I’ve never seen anything so breathtaking in my life. Just the way you are standing there, showing me your profile, and cradling your stomach?
I cried.
I hate that I am missing so much, but I know it’s for the best. I really believe that you are stronger mentally than me sometimes. I love you both so much and cannot wait to kiss the both of you!
Forever yours,
Ryan

Hey sweet Daddy,
Update time! Cozy up to Reilly - and soon…
Marisol said today at dinner that my stomach has dropped, which means our little lima bean is moving into position. The doctor confirmed that I’ve started to efface – and that is the beginning stages.
Don’t do anything yet.
I will efface, lose a mucus plug (ewww), and dilate. First babies could take a couple of days or weeks to slowly start to dilate. I’ll let you know how the next visit goes.
Love,
Sophie

Ryan– things are starting to progress.
I’ve got a bag ready by the front door and everyone is on a text thread in case I go into labor. They are going to pick me up and drive me to the hospital when it’s time. I was checked by the doctor this morning and I am fully effaced.
Dilation is at a two, so she is going to check me again in a few days so we can get a better timeframe. Dr. Bow is so understanding and well worth the drive into Tyler!
Get ready, Handsome!
