Mihailo and I spent the next two hours concocting a plan. Plotting was what we did best, and we were fucking spectacular at it. We would gain control of the arms trade and force the bastard out of business once and for all. Finally, the answer to my problems, being delivered on a silver platter.
It was as if the stars had aligned.
Nearly time to meet Willow, we decided to head out. Andrey would fly the private jet with me and Willow while Mihailo went back to Moscow to handle some business there.
Willow was waiting in the lobby when we arrived. Her face was pale and her leg bounced nervously as she sat in the seating area of the lobby. Maybe she knew. If she did, she’d be a fool to still go with me.
Doesn’t matter. I couldn’t care less about that now. Not when I’mthisclose to finally getting complete control over the business. The time was now for the Koslov family to ensure our lasting dominance. Misha and Dimitry won’t believe how I played my cards right.
It’s a pity about Willow. She was nice. I really did like her, but she’s too powerful of a pawn to not use. Besides, she brought this on herself by working with the devil.
Daddy’s little girl is playing with fire? Well, Daddy’s little girl is about to get burnt.
And I would do that with the one thing that I knew would destroy her.

Willow
“Aprivate jet?” Viktor shouted, squealing with his arms in the air. He hopped off my bed and ran to my suitcase.
“What are you doing?” I asked through laughter.
He tossed me a shirt and dug through for a pair of shorts. “Picking out your outfit, duh! You have to look ah-mazing for this trip.”
I shook my head, joining him and the pile of clothes on the floor. “Alright, fine. You can pick my outfit but nothing too wild. I’m still a respectable female, after all.”
He snorted, quirking an eyebrow. “Girl, you slept with the man on the first date.” I scoffed, but he raised his hand in defense. “It’s okay. Embrace your inner slut. She’s the one that will get you lucky tonight, too.”
I rolled my eyes, smiling too hard to hide it. “Vik, you’re something else.”
“Yeah, a little something that Giorgios seems to like. We’re going out again today. He wants to take me to a little kafénio and treat me to his favorite coffee. And do you know why? Because I embraced my inner slut, too.”
Viktor and I talked for a while and after I showered, he helped me with my hair—a half-up twisted style with my blonde locks cascading over my shoulders. My makeup was light. I went for the natural look. Really, makeup was too complicated for me to figure out, so I kept it simple. My father never allowed me to wear much, so I never got to learn how to do much more than the basic lipstick and blush.
I left the hotel room, telling Viktor I’d let him know later if I was returning to the room—though I hoped that I wouldn’t be.
When I reached the lobby, Ivan was nowhere in sight, so I waited for another 15 minutes before he came strolling through the entrance with Mihailo.
Great.Just who I wanted to see.
Ivan was gorgeous, wearing a nice suit with his hair slicked and pulled back tight. His sleeves were pulled up to his elbows, revealing his toned forearms and tattoos. He almost looked like he was going on a business trip, and I wondered if he was about to cancel our date.
When he looked at me, I didn’t see the same kind, enamored expression I’d seen earlier. There was something darker in his eyes, and at that moment, something in my gut told me to leave, to not go with them.
But Ivan wouldn’t hurt me, right? He seemed different than the other men who controlled my life. Then again, I’d only met him yesterday. It was true that I really didn’t know that much about him. Hell, I didn’t even know what kind of business he and his brothers ran. They could be leading me away to some intricate sex trafficking ring.
I doubted Ivan would do that considering he beat the hell out of Mark last night for touching me.
What if this was all some elaborate plan to get back at me for spilling my drink?
Okay, now I was being paranoid. Still, I couldn’t shake this feeling that something bad would happen if I left with them.
“Willow,” Ivan greeted me, though not with the warm smile from earlier. When he glanced at Mihailo, his smirk was almost devious. “I’ll see you soon, Mihail.”
I let out a breath of relief. Thank god creepy friend wasn’t coming. His glower wasn’t as strong as earlier, but the sliver of a smile on his lips left me even more apprehensive than earlier.
Ivan didn’t bother taking my hand as he led me to his Maserati rental. The entire walk there was silent, and he kept two steps ahead of me the entire time, not bothering to look at me or say anything.
