Lincoln grinned, his eyes bright. “There will always be people like me,” he said, his voice rising. “No matter how careful you are, power will always win. You can’t create anything with so much potential and not have it exploited. It’s the way of the world.”

“And there will always be men like me to stop you!” Levi roared. “I learned my lesson. I might have learned it the hard way, but at least now I know it, right down to my bones. I was wrong, and I will make it right … I will make positive changes in the world.”

Lincoln sneered, but the agents were pushing him into the car. Lincoln yelled, trying to deliver a final shot.

“You can’t stop evil, Levi!” he cried.

“I stopped you, didn’t I?” Levi shot back.

The agents shut the door and secured Lincoln, ready to drive away. Hannah took Levi’s hand, and they walked to the side street to find their car.

She looked into his eyes, squeezing his hand gently.

“That was a great speech,” she said softly. “I don’t think you’ll be a target anymore. You’ve made your point.”

Levi stopped, putting his hands on Hannah’s shoulders. His eyes gleamed with an inner fire, a passion to set things right.

“It wasn’t just words, Hannah,” he said. “I really mean it. There are plenty of billionaires out there working on solutions to world hunger, clean water, and an end to violence. I used to be afraid to risk my fortune, worrying that I’d lose everything I worked so hard for. Now I see, the only way to truly appreciate my wealth is to use it for the good of others.”

Hannah smiled, the warmth behind it radiating from her chest and her heart. She threw her arms around Levi and kissed him hard. He grabbed her around the waist and pulled her against his body, lifting her and deepening the kiss.

He set her down gently as he stroked an unruly strand of hair from her temple. Even that light touch sent a thrill through her. She couldn’t get enough of him, and that was the truth.

“Even though I don’t need a bodyguard anymore, I still need you,” he whispered, his eyes dancing mischievously. Hannah laughed.

“I’ll guard this body any time you like.” She giggled. “I had better get a very close look at it, just so I know the exact condition.”

“I agree,” Levi said, nodding seriously. “You should get to know every inch of my skin. Hands won’t be sensitive enough, though. I think you’ll have to use your tongue.”

His face was so serious that she had to laugh. He smiled, too, and Hannah hugged him again, kissing him deeply. As she pulled back, she ran the tip of her tongue along his jaw, up to his earlobe. She nipped it gently, making him moan.

“I give you my solemn promise that I’ll map every inch of your skin with my tongue,” she whispered. “Over and over again.”

Levi shivered, goosebumps rushing along his skin. Hannah was still pressed up against him, and she could feel his body responding as his cock hardened.

“I love you,” Levi whispered. Hannah felt so much warmth in her chest that she thought she might burst.

“I love you too,” she whispered, kissing him even harder than before. This time, she couldn’t hold back. She groped him with her hands, searching for his tongue with her own as he dipped his head to kiss her even more deeply.

When they pulled back, they were both breathless, and the look they shared was pure desire.

“Let’s get the fuck out of here,” she muttered. Levi nodded, and they jogged to the car, their steps in perfect time.

HANNAH

Hannah knew they would never make it back to Levi’s place. They were barely in the car for five seconds before she started touching him, and Levi clearly couldn’t concentrate on driving.

Levi pulled into the parking lot of a motel. Hannah leaned across the car and kissed him, practically wriggling into his lap. She heard him laugh just before their mouths came together, and she felt a surge of emotion inside her, something so pure and beautiful it defied explanation.

For a few seconds, she was all sensation, the feel of Levi’s hot lips and hard hands more real than her own breath. Eventually, Levi pulled back and looked into her eyes.

“Let’s go inside,” he said.

She nodded, reaching up to touch his cheek. “It would be nice to start my mapping of your body without the gear shift sticking in my guts,” she said, grinning.

“It will be quite difficult to reach everything from that angle,” he agreed. “And it’s important that you do a thorough job.”
