“Jameson,” he whispered, brushing his thumb down my flushed cheek. “Are you on any kind of birth control?”

I blinked away my surprise and nodded, heat spreading as he watched his thumb drag over my lips.

“Good.”

His eyes grew hungry as he pulled me on top of him, ignoring the pain I knew coursed through his body. His hand landed on the back of my neck and pulled my mouth to his. His lips were rough and passionate as he sucked on my lower lip, teasing it with his teeth.

Pulling away, I sat up. His hard length pressing against my center. “Why are you asking that?”

A smirk pulled at the corners of his mouth. “I didn’t plan for my beautiful, insanely tempting girlfriend, who isn’t ready for children, to be on this trip. I didn’t think I’d need that kind of protection.”

“Mateo. Should you really be thinking about sex right now?”

“I’m pretty much always thinking about sex when I’m with you.”

“Hmm. Is that so?”

“Mmhmm.” He cautiously lifted himself to a sitting position. His fingertips slipped to the hem of my shirt and lifted it away.

Pushing better judgment aside, I leaned into him as his lips moved against my collarbone, then over the fabric of my bra. Lightly biting at the skin exposed above the lace. I took my bottom lip between clenched teeth, holding in a moan daring to escape.

*Knock, knock, knock.*

With the cup of my bra pushed away, Mateo sucked hard against my tightened nipple as the rapping against the door sounded.

“Ow!“ I said in a hushed tone, swatting his hand away from my breast.

“Sorry, baby.” He smiled and kissed the peaked bud.

*Knock, knock, knock.*

“Fuck,”Mateo groaned, laying his face in the valley between my breasts.

“Should we get that?”

“No. They’ll go away,” he said, his voice muffled against my body.

*Knock, knock.*

“Doesn’t sound like it.”

I moved from my spot on Mateo’s lap—much to his displeasure. Boobs secured back in their holder, I threw on my shirt and answered the door.

Xander stood there, fist raised to knock again.

I stepped aside to let him enter.

“It smells like sex in here.” His light brown eyes squinted as he grinned at me, then at Mateo, casually wandering in from the bedroom.

“More like interrupted foreplay,” Mateo said in a matter-of-fact tone.

“Clearly. If Jamie’s shirt is anything to go by.” We all looked at the silk blouse I threw on inside out in my haste.

“Oh, God,“ I whispered, covering my face.

Unfazed, Xander laughed. “You just took one of the biggest hits—no, scratch that—the biggesthit of your career. You think that’s a good idea?”

Mateo shrugged. “Orgasms cure headaches, right?” Walking over, he kissed the top of my head.
