“I’m not… lying,” she managed, the words spoken so softly he’d barely heard them.

“You’re not exactly dry though, are you?” he teased, loving the instant flush of color that flooded her face even as he felt her suit growing damper beneath their entwined fingers.

“I… I guess not, sir,” she said, shyly.

He continued to stroke over her sex as he bent to press his mouth to hers. They kissed until she stiffened and then cried out as he brought her to climax. Jack held his bride in his arms, his lips pressed against the top of her curls as she gradually regained her senses.

“You were right. Naughty is very nice,” she said, pulling back slightly.

Jack’s laughter boomed amongst the trees. “You, my dear, are the most adorable creature on these islands.”

“Thank you for such a perfect day, Jack,” she said, bending forward to kiss him for a moment before he helped her out of the jeep once they’d returned home.

“You’re welcome, sweetheart,” he said as he reached for the picnic basket. “Why don’t you check the mail before we go in?”

He followed her as she went to the mailbox at the end of their sidewalk. The sexy sway of her hips beneath her dress almost caused him to forget about her errand. When she began to giggle, turning to him, he didn’t know what to think.

“Oh, Jack,” she said, running the few steps necessary to throw herself into his arms. When she reached with her hands to cup his face, it wasn’t until after she kissed him that he realized she was holding a letter in each hand.

“Jane was right, we are absolutely perfect for each other!” Smiling, she pressed one of the envelopes into his hand and he began to smile, seeing the light lilac color.

“I wanted you to have your first letter in our home to come from me,” Jack said and then chuckled. “Evidently, my little minx had the exact same thought.”

They walked hand in hand up the sidewalk and, once inside, he put the picnic basket on the foyer table and pulled her into his arms.

“I just want you to know, my dearest Betsy, that right here, right now, having you in my arms is all the paradise I’ll ever need.”

Her smile was as brilliant as the setting sun hanging over the Pacific Ocean outside their window. “But we’ll still go back to Eden, right?”

He laughed and lifted her off her feet. “That, my beautiful Eve, is a definite yes.” He swung her around in a circle as she laughed until his lips once again descended on hers, sealing the promise with a kiss.

The End
